God always plans things so that we will have the chance to witness about Jesus. We have to be open to these chances. We must always be ready to witness about Jesus. To do so, we must be familiar with God's Word.

The readings from 1 Samuel 13:5-18 and Acts 8:26-40 are interesting studies of contrasts. The contrast is the consequences of disobeying God verses the consequences of obeying God.
