When we take Communion we need to be guided by scripture. There are biblical examples that show both good and bad ways to partake. I Corinthians 11:17-22 gives an example of the wrong way and wrong attitudes to partake in communion.

We are working through I Corinthians. The church in Corinth had a lot of problems. Thankfully, we don't have most of their problems, but it will be good for us to learn from them so that we don't repeat their troubles.
