Chapter 6 (The Oracle) (can refer to Sep 11?)

Isaiah 9:10 - "The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with smooth stones; The sycamores have been cut down, but we will replace them with cedars."

Chapter 5 (The 2nd Harbinger, The Terrorist, per Cahn)

Isaiah 10: 5 Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hands is My indignation,

6 I send it against a godless nation And commission it against the people of My fury To capture booty and to seize plunder, And to trample them down like mud in the streets. AMERICA NEEDS TO REMEMBER GOD.

7 Yet it does not so intend, Nor does it plan so in its heart, But rather it is its purpose to destroy And to cut off many nations. AMERICA NEEDS TO CARE FOR OTHERS.

12 So it will be that when the Lord has completed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will say, "I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the pomp of his haughtiness."

13 For he has said, "By the power of my hand and by my wisdom I did this, For I have understanding; And I removed the boundaries of the peoples And plundered their treasures, And like a mighty man I brought down their inhabitants, BORDERS MAY NOT MEAN MUCH.

14 And my hand reached to the riches of the peoples like a nest, And as one gathers abandoned eggs, I gathered all the earth; And there was not one that flapped its wing or opened its beak or chirped." JESUS GATHERS US.

15 Is the axe to boast itself over the one who chops with it? Is the saw to exalt itself over the one who wields it? That would be like a club wielding those who lift it, Or like a rod lifting him who is not wood.

16 Therefore the Lord, the GOD of hosts, will send a wasting disease among his stout warriors; And under his glory a fire will be kindled like a burning flame. 6 million deaths as of Sep 2022 (https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/world-map-coronavirus-deaths-country-covid-19-n1170211)

Chapter 17 (Shemitah, waives all outstanding debts between Jewish debtors and creditors.)

Lev 25: 1 The LORD then spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai, saying,

2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, `When you come into the land which I shall give you, then the land shall have a sabbath to the LORD. EXODUS 20: REMEMBER THE SABBATH TO KEEP IT HOLY.

3 `Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its crop,

4 but during the seventh year the land shall have a sabbath rest, a sabbath to the LORD; you shall not sow your field nor prune your vineyard. ONE REASON FARMS HAVEN'T PROSPERED?

5 `Your harvest's aftergrowth you shall not reap, and your grapes of untrimmed vines you shall not gather; the land shall have a sabbatical year.

Ex 23: 10 "You shall sow your land for six years and gather in its yield,

11 but on the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, so that the needy of your people may eat; and whatever they leave the beast of the field may eat. You are to do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.

Deut 15: 1 "At the end of every seven years you shall grant a remission of debts. (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/08/24/fact-sheet-president-biden-announces-student-loan-relief-for-borrowers-who-need-it-most/)

2 "This is the manner of remission: every creditor shall release what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother, because the LORD'S remission has been proclaimed.

Chapter 19 p. 164 Re: Sep 29, Newsweek May 18, 2009 “It was this event more than anything else that shattered market confidence. Over the next two weeks, the Dow fell close to 2,700 points, a decline of almost 25 percent . . . the damage has been done.”

p. 202 prayer re: George Washington “On the morning of the day on which our illustrious President will be invested with his office, the bells will ring at nine o’clock, when the people may go up to the house of God and in a solemn manner commit the new government with its important train of consequences, to the holy protection and blessing of the Most High. An early hour is prudently fixed for his peculiar act of devotion and is designed wholly for prayer.”

p. 206, St. Paul’s Chapel – “on April 30, 1789 when America’s first government entered through its doors. It was here that the nation’s first president, Senate and House of Representatives bowed together in prayer to consecrate the new nation’s future into the hands of God. This is the place where the new nation was committed to the Almighty; this is America’s ground of consecration.”
