Good morning, church family! Today, we're gonna pause and pay homage to our senior citizens, talk about preparing for retirement with grace, and discuss how we can pass the baton with dignity. Our inspiration comes from Deuteronomy 34:9 which states, "And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses."
Dear Lord, we thank you for the blessing of age, the wisdom that comes with it, and the legacy that is passed down from generation to generation. We ask for your guidance as we navigate the journey of life and the transition to retirement. Help us to honor the contributions of our seniors, prepare for our future with grace, and pass the baton with dignity. In Jesus' name, Amen.
