Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

The average man spends 3500 hours

in his lifetime shaving. That figure equates to

250, fourteen hour days. The only dwarf in

Snow White, who shaved, was called Dopey.

The writer of Ecclesiastes warns us of the

importance of time twenty eight times in

Chapter 3. Time is he reminds us; a unique commodity.

It may be used only once. You cannot redeem

Time, bottle time, hold onto time. Time flows

like water through our hands. (CARPE’ DEIM)

I. There is a certainty of time in God’s plan.

The brevity of life is so short it is mentioned sparingly James 4:14

A. Casting away things that hold us down.

2. Stones of anger/resentment.

B. Gathering Stones of structure/sustenance
