Seeking God First

We won't have to worry about so many things in life if we will just sit at the feet of Jesus, spending time with him and learning to know him. But it's usually the other way round. We chase other things and try to figure out life on our own. Often times we get tired and exhausted and come back to God. And he is always there. Even when we were trying to do life without him, he was there loving us and protecting us from evil and providing for us. He is always ready to welcome us back into his comforting arms. We can't do life on our own. We will drown if we try to. That's why it's important to prioritise and put God first.

We must continually strive to create time for God, worshipping him and just basking in his presence. To do this, we must come as we are. We don't have to know all the scriptures in the bible or have the right words. We just need to bare our heart to him. And he will always grace us. He will help us to learn more about him and direct our paths. And the amazing thing is while we are at his feet learning from him and just worshipping, we realise that we don't have to carry our burdens alone. He gives us peace and clarity.
