When every door in our lives seems to be closed, there is always one door that opens, and that is the door to know and seek God. Many saints in the Bible went through this door during their difficult times when all other doors were closed. Instead of crying for the closed doors, we should go through the open door to seek God. By doing so, we can safeguard ourselves from depression, weariness and attacks of the enemy. Perhaps God has closed all the other doors in our lives so that we can find this open door to know and seek Him. When we seek God, we will find the Rose of Sharon to comfort us and the Lily of the Valley to refresh us through the season of closed doors. Jesus the rose of Sharon and lily of the valley is found in the season of closed doors. There is nothing much you can do when all doors are closed but go through this open door to know and seek God.

The season of closed doors is only for a certain period, and every Christian has to go through this season. Some people fall and never get up in this season, but others rise up to new heights. This is a season that is least talked about in Christian circles. Even David and Joseph went through this season. It is better to go through this season in our early careers, in our youth, rather than in our later years. If God is allowing us to go through this season, He knows when to bring us out of it. The treasures of knowing God are the greatest blessing in this season. We will learn that Jesus Himself is the greatest blessing in this season. We will also learn to appreciate and fear God alone.

Many of us are currently in this season, but once we come out of it, there will be a bigger and better door in our lives. God is planning to open the biggest door to bring us out of the season of closed doors. He is preparing us for the biggest breakthrough of our lives after the season of closed doors. The blessings will overflow, and our lives will be filled with abundance. The abundance will be displayed in all aspects of our lives. All the years in the season of closed doors are not lost years; rather, they are preparation for the greatest years ahead. The closed doors will point us to the open door to know God, and from the open door, we will be led to the greatest door of our lives.

Therefore, we should not be disappointed in the season of closed doors. Instead, we should seek and know God, and there will be a greater door opening in our lives. The greater door leads to the King's palace, where we will see our King Jesus and receive his blessings. God is doing this wonderful work. Just like the door to Pharaoh's palace opened for Joseph (Genesis 41:40), God will also open a door to the king's palace to bring us out of the season of closed doors.
