Satan can’t Win

And I Got Proof

Isaiah 14:12-27

Lucifer was the name that satan was known

Before his fall!

He was once the highest of all created

intelligences, standing as the anointed

cherub.

Ezekiel 28:14 says

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth

And I have set thee so: thou wast upon the

Holy mountain of God; thou hast walked

Up and down in the midst of the stones

Of fire

Satan was driven by ambition and he thought

He could lead a successful coop against

The throne of God

And there was his Great Fall!!

Satan’s power was completely taken away

From him!!!

In Vs 12 it called him Lucifer or (Day Star)

Talks about him being cut down by God!

And further it was his first rebellion

When he was cast down from heaven

And his last rebellion

When he was cast down to earth!!!

Satan expressed his desire to occupy the

Heavens

And he wanted to have charge above God

He planned a scaniving attempt to take charge

And not only did he want to occupy and be

In charge of heaven but he also wanted charge

Of God’s throne

Boy did he ever get cut down

So you see Satan only has the power that

We allow him to have!!!

God had allowed him to have some power

In the beginning

He already had a throne which was already

An important position,

But He wasn’t satisfied with that

He wanted full control!!!!

1st Kings 8:23 says:

Lord God of Israel, thee is no God like thee

In Heaven above, or on earth beneath

Who keepest covenant and mercy with thy

Servants that walk before thee with

All their heart!!

Satan wanted to slide into God’s position

But have I got news for him!!

Exodus 15:18 says

The Lord shall reign for ever and ever

SATAN CAN’T WIN AND I GOT PROOF!!

He wanted God’s strength and He wanted

God’s Power

Revelation 4:11 says:

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive

Glory and honor and power; for thou

Hast created all things and for thy pleasure

They are and were created!!

In our reading,

He said I will sit also upon the mount of the

Congregation in the sides of the north!!

Satan wanted God’s purity and He wanted

To gain God’s Glory

He said I will ascend above the heights of the

Clouds, I will be like the most high!!

You see Satan desired to look good in the

eyes of others

When his heart was full of wickedness

And evil And hatred, and deceit!!

NAHUM 1:3 SAYS

The Lord is slow to anger and great in power

And will not at all acquit the wicked;

The Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and

In the storm, and the clouds

Are the dust of his feet!!!!

Satan must not have realized just how powerless

He was when He stood up against my GOD!!!

Didn’t he know that he couldn’t win

Sometimes we want to slide in there as well,

And try to take the glory, or honor or praise

Sometimes we’ll try to get in God’s way

Sometimes we’ll try to keep someone

From doin God’s will!!

But when we do then you better watch out!!!

Because God might just move you

Right out of the way just like he did

Ole Lucifer!!!!!

Satan didn’t realize what the consequences

Were gonna be!!!

We all desire to look good in the eyes of others

But let me tell you something

Looking good to others ain’t gonna

Get you to heaven

In fact it’ll probably even get you to

Hell quicker!!!!

Nahum 1:6 says

Who can stand before his indignation?

And who can abide in the fierceness

of his Anger

His fury is poured out like fire, and the

Rocks are thrown down by him!!!

Satan wanted God’s Prestige

And He was in Rebellion against God

Deut 21:18 says:

If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son

Which will not obey the voice of his father

Or the voice of his mother and that

When they have chastened him

Will not hearken unto them!!!!

1st Samuel 15:23

For Rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft

And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry

Because thou hast rejected the word

Of the Lord!

So you see

Satan didn’t just want to have God’s place

Os his position, or his power or his purity

He wanted to be God himself

And He really felt in his heart that he

Could accomplish this great feat and become

The all mighty power of the Universe!!!

He coveted after that which belonged to

God and only God!!!

And this is a perfect example of what happens

When we let sin over-ride our thinking

And it’s a perfect example of what happens
