Righteousness Is Faith In God

Romans 4:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

4 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Beloved, we give God all the glory for making things very easy for us Christians.

Beloved all you need to do, to be made righteous by God and to be qualified for all the things He has for His children is to have faith in Him through Jesus Christ.

If even, in the old testament, before the law, Abraham who was a friend of God, a prophet of God and one who God comes to earth to visit, not spiritual visit but physical visit as a friend visits another, could not attain righteousness by his good deeds but only by his faith in God then you and I have no other means to be righteous but by faith in Jesus.

Beloved so the Holy Book says, *ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD AND IT WAS COUNTED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS*.

Beloved I want you to have this at the back of your head always, that:

*FAITH IN JESUS PRODUCES GOOD DEEDS BUT GOOD DEEDS DOES NOT PRODUCE FAITH IN JESUS*.

When you have faith in Jesus, the Vine, you as the branch would definitely bear good fruits, good deeds. You will not force yourself or have to remind yourself to do good. Good deeds would naturally come to you and flow from your heart to bless many.

There is no man who has faith in Jesus and does not do good deeds. Any man who claims to have faith in Jesus and is wicked or does no good deeds is a liar.

Beloved, doing good to people points them to you and what is in you, so they thank you, praise you and honour you. If your faith in Jesus is what is producing the good deeds then when they are pointed to you by the good deeds, you in turn points them to Jesus who is the producer of all the good deeds and you acknowledge yourself as just a channel through whom His good deeds flow.

This causes them to look for this wonderful Jesus we worship and also worship Him.

Beloved if you have faith in Jesus, good works becomes a part of you. Don't ever think good works makes you righteous so work and work and work trying to obtain the righteousness of God.

The devil uses this deception of working to attain righteousness of God to deceive people so that when they can't sustain the good works anymore with their strength they get tired and frustrated then they give up. The devil then picks on them and work to destroy them by first making them lose hope in Jesus and His salvation.

Your faith in Jesus is all He needs for Him to use you to do amazing things that will blow your mind.

Beloved, *ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Jesus was, is and eternally would be righteous. Have faith in Him and let it be credited to you as righteousness and by this faith in Him you shall always produce good deeds.

Prayer: Daddy, please help me to believe in you and never stop believing in you so that my faith in you would produce all the good deeds you have destined me to do. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
