Rewards at the Judgment seat of Christ

2nd Cor.5; 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

One of the most needed Bible truths of our day is the preaching and teaching that Christians are to face Judgment seat of Christ and give an account of their, time talents, and possessions. Understanding this

Great fundamental truth sure makes a difference in the Christians live.

1. God made promises

Gen.15;

1After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

His promises are never broken

His purposes are always best

His plan is always believe

2.For preferring God’s law

Psalms 19; 10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Best for family, friends and home

Best for individual faith and forgiveness

Best for the future of eternity

3.For being persecuted falsely

Matt.5; 12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

For speaking evil of you for Christ sake

For secretly trying to kill your influence

4.For performance of duty

1st Cor.3; 14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

Believing what Gods word teaches

Building on the right foundation

Brotherly love and kindness shown to saints

5. For our personal sacrifice

1st Cor.9; 17For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

18What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

1st Tim.5; 18For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

Willingly tithe your income

Witness your talents the best you can

Work with your time for his glory

6.For our priestly service

Matt. 10; 42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

The smallest service in the right way is rewarded

The servant is worthy of his hire

Sympathy for suffering is expressed in deeds

7.For promotion of the Bible doctrines

2 John 1:8:

8Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Look after calling as a faithful follower

Look after consecration if you’re out of fellowship

Look after your condition if you are lost in your folly
