A discourse on overcoming obstacles that prevent true restoration, and the three elements revived in the valley of dry bones.

Introduction

The book of Ezekiel is very interesting. Ezekiel was a prophet of God who received deep revelations about God's glory, power, and love. When reading Ezekiel, we need to ask God to help us understand His Word, or we may miss the important message He wants to convey.

Today, we will look at one of Ezekiel's revelations: "The Valley of Dry Bones." This revelation shows us the power, love, and glory of God and how He can restore dry or dead situations. It will strengthen our faith in God's ability to bring life to hopeless situations.

Something Happens When God Turns His Face to You

A lot of things were not right in the valley of dry bones. A lot had gone wrong, and a lot had been lost. But when God turned His face towards that valley, everything changed. Restoration took place. If you are in a valley, the Lord will turn His face towards you, and His power will bring you out, no matter how dark, deep, or long you have been in that valley.

The starting point for restoration is for God to turn His face towards you, to be interested in your situation. It was because God was interested in the valley of dry bones that He took Ezekiel there. It was because God cared about the dry bones that He asked Ezekiel about them. The day the God of Restoration took interest in the valley of dry bones, their name changed. The negative labels people had given them were taken away. Your story will change today. Every negative label people have given you will be removed by the God of Restoration. The dryness in your life will be replaced with life and abundance.

The bones had been in that valley for a long time, and nobody cared about them. But the One whose opinion matters the most hadn't given up on those dry bones. When it seemed like nothing good could come out of those dry bones, God brought something good out of the worst situation. He was able to bring all the scattered bones together and restore them. The same power that restored the dry bones can restore everything that is broken and scattered in your life.

Three Types of Restoration

What Was Restored In The Valley Of Dry Bones? We have established that you need God to be interested in your situation for restoration to happen. We have seen that restoration is about moving up higher in life, and humility is necessary for a divine lifting. We also know that true restoration comes from God, not from people. Through divine instructions, the dry bones came back to life.

But what exactly was restored back to the dry bones? What had they lost that God restored? What was missing from their lives?

The Lord revealed to me that three significant types of restoration took place in the valley of dry bones.

Restoration of their Spiritual Value and Relevance

The first thing that was restored was their spiritual value and relevance. When the breath of God entered the dry bones, they stood up as a vast army. Those dry bones belonged to soldiers of God. But for some reason, they had stopped being an army for God. They had stopped operating as soldiers of God. They were just dry bones with no life or power. They had lost their spiritual value and relevance.

As believers, our spiritual value and relevance are to avert dangers, be a channel of blessing, and be a voice to be reckoned with. We are meant to bring light, make an impact, and be consulted on important matters. Unfortunately, many believers have lost their spiritual value and relevance. But today, there will be restoration. Every area where you have lost your spiritual value and relevance will be restored.

Restoration of their beauty and glory

The dry bones had lost their beauty and glory. They were not a pleasant sight to behold. But when the glory of the Lord covered them, they became an impressive and formidable army for God. God promises to restore our beauty and glory, to give us abundance and remove shame from our lives. He wants to manifest His presence in our lives in an awesome way. The glory of the Lord will be restored in your life today.

Restoration of spiritual freshness

The dry bones were very dry, lacking any freshness. They needed the breath of God to enter them and bring them back to life. Similarly, we can become spiritually dry when we grieve the Holy Spirit or neglect the gifts God has given us. We need the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit to keep us fresh and alive.

Today, the fresh breath of the Holy Spirit will be released on you. The wind of the Holy Spirit will blow away sin and revive dormant gifts in your life. You will come alive with fresh power and anointing.

Conclusion

Your life can be compared to a cup. It can be full or empty. Is your cup full of the fresh power of the Holy Spirit, or is it empty and dry? You don't need to go back empty and dry. You don't need to remain in the valley of dry bones.

Call on God today to fill your cup, to quench your thirst, and to make you whole. He will restore your spiritual value and relevance, your beauty and glory, and your spiritual freshness. Trust in His power to bring life to every dead situation in your life.
