Good morning, church family! In our fast-paced, ever-changing world, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and disconnected from our faith. The enemy would love nothing more than to see us spiritually weak and weary. But we serve a God who specializes in restoring and reviving His people. So today, we'll be exploring the need for revival in today's culture and the countless benefits of being empowered by God.
Charles Spurgeon, the great preacher of the 19th century, once said, "Without the Spirit of God, we can do nothing. We are as ships without wind. We are useless." How true that is! When we lose sight of our dependence on God's power, we become vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. So let's turn our attention to Psalm 85:6, which reminds us of God's power and willingness to revive and restore us:
"Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?"
