REVIVAL

Hosea 6: 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

1. God is the source of Revival

“ Wilt thou revive us again” Psalm 85:6

See the things that are attributed to the Lord in Psalm.

He is the Alpha and Omega of all blessings.

2. Believers are subjects of Revival

A. “Revive us” Hosea 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

B. “Revive me” Psalm 138: 7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

C. “Revive the humble and contrite” Isaiah 57: 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

D.“ Revive thy work” Habakkuk 3: 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy

Those who are humble in heart, contrite in spirit, personal in petition, and consecrated in life command the Lord’s blessing.

3. Prayer is the secret to Revival

Psalm 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

When we pray with a sanctified heart

We believe

We request

Revival will follow.

4.The word of God is the rule to Revival

Psalm 119:25My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

Psalm 119:107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

Psalm 119: 149 Hear my voice according unto thy loving kindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

Psalm 119 :154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

Psalm 119: 156 Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments

All God’s giving’s and reviving run along the rails of his WORD and arrive at the terminus of his TRUTH

5. Loving kindness is the heart of revival

Psalm 119:88 Quicken me after thy loving kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

Psalm 119:159 Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy loving kindness.

Love is the heart throb of all God’s acts.

Love dominates within ,kindness will be see without.

6:Righteousness is the principal of revival.

Psalm 119: 40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

Revival is not possible when unrighteousness prevails.

Make right is Revival

7. Rejoicing is the outcome of Revival

Psalm 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Joy is the product of holiness

Joy is the product of Salvation

Hosea 14: 7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
