Renewed Life In Christ

Summary: New life in Christ is a blessed life that glorifies God.
New life in Christ is an exciting life and a
soul-refreshing experience, which cannot be
ignored. It is living by the grace of God and
walking in the path of faith. It’s not a life of
fantasy but reality.
The dramatic effects of being in Christ are
far beyond the deceitful works of self-righteous
men. Its vividness cannot be captured and
expressed by world famous artist; neither can be
spoken by great orators of our time. Its
sweetness and grace cannot be compared with sweet
music played by the best violin virtuoso of all
times. Truly, it’s not from men, but an amazing
miracle of God.
New life in Christ produces unspeakable joy
that stays for eternity. Renewed life in Christ
is a life-changing relationship with the Savior.
It creates new desires in the hearts of
believers. It’s a wonderful freedom guided by the
Gospel rule of life.
(I) New Desire
Colossians 3:1, 2 Matthew 6:19-21
-Heavenly desires
*Desire that pleases the Lord.
He who loves the Lord will not leave the Word.
He who leaves the Lord will surely love the world.
(II) New Image
Colossians 3:10 II Corinthians 5:17
-After the image of Christ
II Corinthians 3:17, 18
Having a good image is a great advantage, much
more if we use it in the service of the King.
(III) New Purpose
Colossians 3:17
-To glorify the Lord
God created us not for our own glory, but for
His honor and glory.
(IV) New Master
Colossians 3:24
-The Lord Jesus Christ
The best of all servants is he who faithfully
serves the Lord Jesus until He comes.
Living in Christ blocks the desire of our old
man, so that the Holy Spirit could work according
to the will of God. A Spirit-led life glorifies
our Heavenly Father. It is a life filled with
godly knowledge and moral excellence; a life
guided by the Word of God; and enhanced through
godly goals. New life in Christ is not a life of
vanity and emptiness, but a life with a purpose
and certainty, and could be enjoyed through our
Christian service and sweet fellowship with our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
