REMOVAL OF SIN

Psalms 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Jer. 2:22 For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.

Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Man can not in any way clean himself from his sins only God can do that.

There is no cleaner that will clean our sins up

1. Sin rest on the sinner.

Isaiah 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

America has become a sinful nation

Breeding sin in every area

What is wrong with us today

2. Sin separates from God.

Isaiah 59: 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Iniquities have forced God out of a number of people’s lives

God has to turn his back on sin

His face is hid from us

He will not hear many prayers because of sin

3. Christ put away sin.

Hebrews 9:26For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

At the very begging of the world God started to find away to remove sin

After the ark God

He had to give of himself

4. By his blood he purged our sins .

Hebrews 1:3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

He brought glory to earth in the image of himself

Holding the word at its best

Serving the power to all men

He washed our sins in his blood

5. Sins remission proclaimed in the Gospel

Acts 10:42And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

43To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Salvation was preached to all man kind

He was ordained of God

He will judge both quick and dead

6. Sins forgiven for his name sake

1st John 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

Sins are forgiven only because of Jesus

It’s for his name sake

That it will glorify the father

Christ death cleanses all sins

Believe and be washed

His will is all be saved.
