Recovering The Ichabod: Sticking To Jesus

Recovery process emanates from Discovery. The ability to identify the gaps, wrongs or improper or unsatisfied position or situations is discovery and the process of striving and stirring towards a better platform or Higher Ground to attain optimum satisfaction and derive higher benefits, this process is recovery.

Many are wonderer today just as lives without glory meanwhile, they are carrier of precious and prestigious glory but the glory of departed, transferred, exchanged, dormant, or rendered useless. Many were blindfolded against the recognition of their potentials whereas, they major in minor instead of major in major.

Lives in this state, some walk into it ignorantly (Genesis 25: 29- 34) Esau abuse it because it does not know the use. "when the use of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable" Anonymous. The child named a Ichabod by his mother, (1Samuel 4: 21-22)st (1Chronicle 4:9) some deliberately or due to pressure from friends or peers (Judges 16:15- 20). Experiences during these times are not always palatable or appealing, (a desert experience). Whenever the Israelites are void of God's presence, they suffer from their enemies. Likewise, such lives laborloss, (Jeremiah 51: 58; Ezek. 23:29). No achievements and they often experience every negative hands of the Lord (2Samuel 5: 5- 12).

The ability to identify the problem and it's point source, it's a pathway to solution. The principal step to recovery is to find JESUS just as Nicodemus the ruler of the Jews did (John 3: 1-21). Thereafter, maintain stability with Him by working out your salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12), steadfast in faith, be brave, strong, vigilant and be watchful (1Corinthians 16:13, Ephesians 6:13-14). Irrespective of your previous weakness depending on Him for strengthening (2Corinthians 12:9), build a solid relationship with Him and He will direct you (1Sam. 30:8,18-19). The keeping of His instructions cannot be left out, (Joshua 1:8, 2Timothy 3:16-17). His word helps to maintain consistency with Him. These are what you need!

Finally pant after knowing Him, (Philippians 3:10-12: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death...). As you press on the path of restoration, your recovery is undeniable through Christ Jesus.
