Summary: A study of the book of Nehemiah focusing on renewal and cooperation
God’s Work Begins When We Allow HIm To Break Us (1:4)
Biblical brokenness means to be crushed to the point of total dependance upon God.
Until we reach this point God cannot and will not use us.
In the first few verses of Nehemiah, we see the evidences of a broken person.
Look at his prayer:
I. Brokenness Will Cause Us to Reverence God (1:5)
II. Brokenness Will Cause Us to Repent (1:6-7)
III. Brokenness Will Cause Us to Remember God’s Promises (1:8-9)
IV. Brokenness Will Lead Us to Make Bold Requests (1:11)
