scripture;1Kings18:1-46

In these scriptures, Elijah the man of God called for judgment that the Heavens would be shut up and it would not rain. which that is a judgment that God had previously laid out as a judgment for sin. At this time it had not rained for three and one-half years.

1Kings18:1

God gives the man of God instruction. Go shew yourself to Ahab and I'll bring the rain.

The promise of rain comes with conditions.

Faith is a action(go shew)

If Elijah would have done anything other than what the Lord said, the rain would have never come.

1Kings18:17

Elijah meets with Ahab

this is the point some may get to and stop.I HAVE ARRIVED send the rain.

Or i can feel the rain the winds picking up.(No,but there a lot of hot air)

God won't send you anywhere without a reason.Go were he says then listen for instruction.

"Arrogance speaks louder than God. God is more effective!!"

1Kings18:18

This tells the reason there was no rain.They did not follow God's commandments and they followed Baalim.

Ahab told to send for all of the children of Israel and the prophets of Baal and the Prophets of the groves.

Elijah addresses the people of Israel. How long halt ye between two opinions.

A double minded person is unstable in all there ways.

Bring two bullock the prophets of Baal take there's first I;ll take the other.which ever answers by fire serve.

He brought the people to a decision.(very important to do) Other wise this would have no porpoise.

Elijah repaired the altar of the LORD.

Repentance begins at the altar.It must be repaired not replaced.

He put the wood in order.

There was a way that the wood was to be placed he took every precaution to do it right.

There is a way that semeth right..

God is a God of order.

Let all things be done in decency and order.

1Kings18:33-35

Elijah cut the sacrifice to fit the altar.

We are to fit the altar the altar is not to fit us.

Bring on the water boys,do it again and again.

Need i remind you it had not rained for three and one-half years.

1Kings 18:38-40

God answered by fire.

People repented!

Judgment on the prophets of Baal.

Lev 26:3-4(KJV)

If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

1Kings18:44

Here comes the rain.

Then he will send the rain.
