"the Gospel Truth"

The Gospel Truth Revelation 21:6

1. I recall often people saying, “I am not lying” that’s the “Gospel Truth is That Jesus is Alph and Omega

• In today’s reading the Gospel Truth or The "good news Truth” is

• John hears the divine declare "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end" (v.6).

• This is the testimony of God who is the beginning, the center and the end of all creation.

• God the Alpha and God the Omega is a God who is present with us everywhere and at all times.

2. Hear the “Gospel Truth” One day God makes all things New

• We are promised a Gospel Future that is superb filled with splendor and extremely good

• It’s brand New “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away”

• 2And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

• A new and holy Jerusalem will descend into our midst to serve as God's dwelling place.

3. John saw or heard the The “ Gospel of No more” The Gospel Truth is there will be No More

• First heaven and earth were no more

• No more Sea fearful place because of the unknowns and waters were associated with chaos, waters brought disasters, the great deluge, many went to sea and never returned

• No more tears, no more things or stuff that cause tears or hurts, no more rejections, no more vanishing of hopes and dreams

• No more death, no more death things but life things, resurrection things,

• No more pain , no more harms, no more wickedness, no more evil, because there is no more sin

4. The Gospel Truth is “He Reigns”

• During the night of December 9, 1968, theologian Karl Barth died in his sleep. He had spent the entire day working on a lecture.

• He was still at work in the evening when he was interrupted by two telephone calls, about 9 o'clock. One was from his godson Ulrich Barth, to whom he quoted a verse from a hymn which spoke comfortingly about the Christian hope.

• The other person who wanted to speak to him so late at night was his friend Eduard Thurneysen, who had remained faithful to him over 60 years. They talked about the gloomy world situation. Then Barth said, "But keep your chin up! Never mind! He will reign!"

5. The Gospel Truth is

• Jesus is the Alpha and Omega

• The Gospel Truth is we will encounter New stuff Splendid, grand, Wonderful Amazing

• The Gospel Truth is there will be No More Sin, Wickedness, Evil,

• The Gospel Truth is He Reigns, Sovereign, Supreme, It’s a Safe Place

• No Sadness, No Separation, No Sorrow, No Suffering, A Splendid Place, Satisfying Place
