PREFACE SUMMARY

Dear reader, if we study history, we will find that God has moved in powerfully and blessed His people with miraculous signs, such as the 1906 Azusa Street revival in California. During this revival, God used a young black preacher named Brother Seymour to perform incredible miracles.

Today, people still witness God use teenagers to perform miracles during this revival. These miracles were so incredible that they caused many skeptics to reconsider the power of God, who is unchanging and always faithful.

Beloved reader Brother Seymour was a black man with a dark patch over one eye. God blessed him to outgrow his makeshift church in his home and ride a trolley car to a place in town, even though there was a curfew against blacks being on the street after a specific time at night.

One night, Brother Seymour and the Holy Spirit led him to knock on a door. A white lady opened the door and asked him what he wanted. By God's whisper, Brother Seymour knew this woman and others had been meeting in that apartment, asking God to send revival to their town.

Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Brother Seymour spoke words to the woman that revealed to her that God had sent him. This caused them to gather their funds and purchase the old warehouse on Azusa Street. There, heaven came down to earth in supernatural ways, drawing crowds of people from all over the world to witness signs, miracles, and wonders.

In conclusion, the 1906 Azusa Street revival was remarkable when God moved in unique ways. It is a testament to the unchanging power of God and the incredible things He can do through those who are faithful to Him.

" AIR CONDITIONER SALVATION"

During my 43-year trucking career, I have experienced many manifestations of the Holy Spirit, and it would take several books to expound on them all; still, they have left me with priceless memories that will be there to comfort me in times of trial and disappointment.

Dear reader, I would like to take this time to write about one that places a smile on my face every time it enters my mind, and it is about how God chose to fix an air conditioner to reach the heart of a lost trucker.

Beloved, I remember an incident when my truck had broken down in Rochester, NY, and I was directed to ride with two different drivers that would get me back to my home terminal in Kingsport, Tennessee. They did not give me free rides but made me drive while they sat enjoying the trip.

Dear reader, one of the drivers did not know Jesus' name except to use it as a curse word, and the other driver was a Christian man who, because of suffering a bad marriage, had turned his back on God and the call on his life.

Beloved, I recall stopping at a truck stop and saying to the wayward Christian, “What’s God going to have to do, have a big truck pull up with a sign on it telling you Jesus loves you," and beloved at this very moment, the other driver tapped him on the shoulder and pointed to a tractor-trailer passing behind me with those very words painted on the side.

Dear reader, although the other driver was not interested in anything I had to say about God, I continued to witness him during that entire trip.

Beloved reader, did you know that our paths would cross again the following summer, which would change his life forever?

Beloved, it happened in Mobil, Alabama, when, for some reason, my load had been put on hold, which caused me to get very upset until I met that cursing driver coming in to get a load at the same shipper.
