“Send the Message” Isaiah 61:1-10

1. I have been called to send the message

• Isaiah says, “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, God says, Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I HAVE PUT MY SPIRIT UPON HIM." God has sent me to bring a message.

• Note not just anyone has anointed me but it is God HE is the one on whom God has poured out the Spirit, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. I have been called

• We can send the message God restores those who are in sin, restores life’s by offering all forgiveness, God changes circumstances but if circumstances don’t change God can change our attitude towards them.
