"am I Truly Jesus Focused"

Summary: It is easy to assert that it is all about Jesus. Sometimes we believe that our focus is sincerely upon the person and work of Christ. But, is it? John the Baptist was Jesus focused, but when are we? Matthew 3:1-17 provides five moments when we are Jesus focused.
1. We are focusing on Jesus when we call people to repentance. Mt. 3:1-2; Mt. 4:17
2. We are focusing on Jesus when we clarify his identity. Mt. 3:3; Is. 40:3; Mt. 16:13
3. We are focusing on Jesus when we complete our God given tasks. Mt. 3:4-6
4. We are focusing on Jesus when we communicate the necessity of authentic conversion. Mt. 3:7-12
5. We are focusing on Jesus when we commit to obey the Lord. Mt. 3:13-17
