Put Your Trust In God

Summary: Why is it wise to trust in God and not in men? God is worthy of our trust but man is not.
Why is it wise to trust in God and not in men?
God is worthy of our trust but man is not.
I. Don’t put your trust in men (vs. 3-4)
[Trust = to believe in, to rely on, to depend upon]
A. Man in perishable
B. Man is powerless to save
C. Man’s plans end at death
All men are frail and will at sometime disappoint and fail you.
II. Do put your trust in God (vs. 5-10)
A. God blesses those who trust Him (v.5)
B. God is forever faithful (v.6)
C. God personally cares for and helps man (vs.7-9)
D. God reigns forever (v.10)
God cannot disappoint or fail you because He is God!
Conclusion:
It is foolish to trust in man when you can choose to trust in God. God is everything that man is not!
