4 Attributes of God
1) Worthy of praise
2)The judging God
3)The God who lifts up the righteous
4)The God who punishes the wicked.
God is worthy of praise .
Why to praise
1Peter2:9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
10.Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
We should prais the Lord bcause we are
a) chosen people
b)a royal priesthood,
c)a holy nation,
d) God's special possession
e)called us out of darkness into his marvellous light;
f)Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God
g)once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Example of people who were helped by God when they praised Him

Our Lord Jesus Christ will judge the everyone with equity
Act17:31because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”
Son will judge the world not the Father .
john 5;22
Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
John 5:25-29
25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come(A) when the dead will hear(B) the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life(C) in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge(D) because he is the Son of Man.
28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming(E) when all who are in their graves will hear his voice
29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.(F)
The God is the one who lifts up you .so He is telling to
a)Be not boastful
b) ‘Do not lift up your horns.
c)speak not with a stiff neck.
Some arrogant people .self proud
Pharaoh Exodus 5:1,2
When Moses and Aaron asked him to leave the Isreal people to worship God he said
Exodus5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should aobey his voice to let Israel go?
God punished him with 10 plagues . Then He droved him to death

24 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. He prayed to the Lord, who answered him and gave him a miraculous sign.(B) 25 But Hezekiah’s heart was proud(C) and he did not respond to the kindness shown him; therefore the Lord’s wrath(D) was on him and on Judah and Jerusalem. 26 Then Hezekiah repented(E) of the pride of his heart, as did the people of Jerusalem; therefore the Lord’s wrath did not come on them during the days of Hezekiah.(F)
Hezekiah’s heart was proud.but he repented later therefore the Lord’s wrath did not come on them.
3)The God who lifts up the righteous
Psalms 91:14Young's Literal Translation
Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him -- I set him on high, Because he hath known My name
Psalms 75:10
but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted
4)The God who punishes the wicked.
V8
The wine is a picture of God punishing the godless
Drinking the wine, then, means "punishing people". "Drink the last bit" means that God will *punish these people completely
v9 But I will always talk about (what God did).
I will sing praise to the God of Jacob.
