BE HEALED IN THE
NAME OF JESUS
PART 1
Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Jesus healed a broad range of illnesses - in fact, He healed "every disease and sickness:"
Matthew 4:23-24 (NKJV)
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
There is no limit to what Jesus can heal. He healed all types of sicknesses and diseases, including:
those "ill with various diseases"
those who were "suffering severe pain"
those that were "demon-possessed"
those "having seizures"
those who were "paralyzed"
"Healing" comes from a Greek verb which means "to cure." To "cure" means to bring about a permanent change that restores you to health. If you find a cure for something, you don’t just get rid of the symptoms, you bring about a permanent change. Jesus did not just heal people, he "cured" them.
That’s Exactly What I Want In Every Area I Need Healed -- PERMANENTLY RESTORED HEALTH!
ILLUSTRATION
NOW -- I have personally experienced healing on several different levels by several different ways ....
1st -- I was driving to church one night when a car in front of me stopped suddenly, hit my brakes, went into the median curb which causwed my front tires to turn quickly and caught my hand in the steering wheel -- I knew I had broke my finger -- but I chose to go on to church. My Pastor decided to have a visiting evangelist lay hands on people needing healing and I went up with my swollen, black & blue finger -- lifted my hands up and when I brought my hands down -- the bruises, swelling, tenderness were totally gone -- I was good as new.
2nd -- I was suffering from very high blood pressure, taking some strong medicine and still having problems with it -- went to a meeting and Linda & I decided to give sacrificially every bit of money we had on us and in our savings account -- God healed me of high blood pressure on the spot. Haven’t had and never will have high blood pressure again.
3rd -- I was suffering from an hiadle hernia -- it was very uncomfortable and limited what I could eat and caused me to be sick alot at night time -- hard to lay down in bed and sleep. When I began learning about confessing the Word and standing on that Word everyday -- I began to do that and after several months I WAS HEALED -- I just simply began noticing I wasn’t having anymore problems and haven’t ever since and never will again.
4th -- Now I am still waging war on other situations in my body that I stand confessing and believing God’s Word to bring "Healing" -- which also demands my partnering with God’s Word!

Overhearing but ignoring what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; only keep on believing.
3 Things in this ONE VERSE that gives me some "Real Insight" to receiving my "Healing" ....
[1] Ignore What They Say
There will always be those who, well meaning as they are -- do NOT understand what JESUS CAN DO
Jesus didn’t jump all over them ....
Jesus didn’t give them lecture 2101 ...
Jesus didn’t try to debate them ...
Jesus didn’t get mad at them ...
He simply IGNORED THEM ...!
These guys were speaking the facts -- even while JESUS WAS STILL SPEAKING FAITH CONCERNING THE WOMAN’S HEALING & WHAT CAUSED IT!!
[2] DON’T PANIC & BE STRUCK BY FEAR
NOW -- my stepmom -- wasn’t raised in church and marrying my dad brought her into a whole new realm of God -- especially when she met us. She really didn’t know what to think -- but when she got Cancer in her Lungs -- she called in a "Panic"! With NO concept or foundation to stand on -- Linda & I began walking her through how this would work -- Prayed for her, told her to do 4 things .... Ignore people’s reports of death ... Don’t Panic ... Believe God can do this for YOU ... Stand waiting & expecting that Good Report To Come!
WELL -- She is healed & has remained Healed for years from lung cancer.
There Is No Limit To What Jesus Can Heal!
Panic is simply a form of Faith In Fear! Fear Of Death! The Fear of Loss -- Fear of the End -- Fear of Separation from Loved Ones!
Was this little girl dead?
Was it a real problem?
SEE -- we’re NOT denying the problem -- Jesus was dealing on a different level of "Reality"!
The Power Of Jesus Is Always Present -- We Must Stay In The Partnership!
Here Is My Formula For Healing -- If There Is Such A Thing ....
Power Of Jesus
Presence Of Faith In His Name
Persistence In Prayer & Confession
Partnership With Christ
When Moses was at the Red Sea .... He stood up, raised his hands & simply said; "Don’t Panic, see the salvation of God."
Moses LOOKED at the reality through the "Eyes of Faith In God"
Were they in a bad situation?
Was death a real good possibility from Pharoah - the enemies hands?
Jairius’ daughter was already dead -- Jesus says "Don’t Panic or be struck with fear!"
Panic defined in the dictionary is "groundless fear" -- comes from Greek Pantheon of Gods -- PAN was a Greek God (demon) who "imputed groundless fear"
Hell’s messengers love to strike our hearts with panic & fear -- Panic & Fear in the middle of crisis will cause people to hurt themselves
For Us Spiritually --
Panic brings an uncontrollable, overwhelming feeling of terror -- we fall to pieces -- panic is the devil’s way to force us - Push Us into his direction in order to steal from us, kill us or destroy us.
Fear brings the thoughts of no hope -- something that threatens to bring bad news or results -- Fear keeps us paralyzed from moving towards God In Faith.
That’s WHy We Have To Confess Out Loud God’s Word -- Faith Comes By Hearing & Hearing By The Word Of God"
Panic & Fear Can’t Stay Where Faith Lives!!
[3] KEEP ON BELIEVING
MARK 11:22-24
Jesus established His Father’s kingdom by each and every miracle He performed. What does kingdom mean? It means "to rule." Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and establish His Father’s kingdom {rule} on earth. We Have To "Partner With Christ & Establish That Rule or Dominion" by His Word on This Earth - to the powers of the air! Jesus preached and demonstrated the kingdom by breaking the devil’s power.
Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
We keep "Bombarding" - "Beating Down" - "Destroying" the devil’s works, assignments against us and others by continuing to "Establish & Take Dominion Through God’s Word & Faith In The Name Of Jesus Christ"
