This message will bring breakthroughs that you will never forget. As I minister, God will do mighty things as you read down. We will see the potency of praise. It is so sad that the end time church has not given God the praise required by God. That is why the end time church has not received the blessing packaged by God. Do you know that if you give God the actual praise desired by Him, wonders will flow in your life?
Moses discovered the potency of praise. In Exodus 15, he said to God, “who is like unto thee? Amongst the Gods who is like unto thee. You are fearful in praise and always doing wonders.” I will advice you at this moment to get praise and worship song ready and get yourself ready because we are going to praise God from the depths of our hearts. As you praise God, all problems in your life will be solved.
Exodus 15:11 says “15:11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
Something propels God to release wonders into your life as you praise God. What moves God to bless you is the praise from the depths of your heart. Today, I am talking to you as one of the instruments of God meant to lead people to Christ at these end times.
If you give God the praise, I don’t see that demon that can oppress you. I pray for you, that as you are going to praise God at the end of this message, all powers oppressing you, will release you!
You don’t give God the praise that is why you get evil dreams. The Bible says unclean spirits were tormenting Saul. Whenever the spirits began oppressing him, David would praise God on his harp and the unclean spirits would leave Saul.
I Samuel 18:5
18:5 And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.
18:6 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music.
18:7 And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
18:8 And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
18:9 And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
18:10 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand.
18:11 And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.
Look at how God delivered David when he gave God deliverance praise. He delivered David from all the evil plans of Saul.
You don’t know the efficacy of praise that is why some people stand stiff during praise as spectators. When it comes to praise, don’t look at other people. When you give God prophetic praise, He will speak from Third Heaven and deliver you.
Praise is your access to bring God Himself down. Listen, when you pray, God sends angels to do the thing for you, but when you start to praise God and dance to Him, God Himself comes down to help you.
A wedding was going on. The bridegroom came early. As they waited, the bride came. When they turned their attention to the bridegroom, he was motionless. The people shook the groom but he had died. The Pastor officiating the wedding was filled with the power of God. He knew prayers would cause panic in the church so he told the people in the church to rise on their feet. They began to sing saying
Oh Lord, my God
How excellent is your name
In all the earth, how excellent is your.
They praised God for 15 minutes and suddenly the bridegroom sneezed and came back to life. Whatever you are doing, your praise today will cause God to come down.
A wonderful episode happened between Elisha and Jehoshaphat in II Kings 3:14
3:14 And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee
Jehoshaphat had made Elisha angry. He made an alliance with some foreign kings. They were three kings in all and they were going to war. They called many prophets who were all saying they would win. Jehoshaphat was uncomfortable with all the prophets. He had refused to call Elisha because Elisha always prophesied negative things to him. But he knew whatever Elisha said was true and from God. Then he invited Elisha. Elisha came and was very angry however, he said but of Jehoshaphat, he would have allowed the three kings to go to war and fell in battle. Let us look at what happened.
3:16 And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.
3:17 For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
3:18 And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
3:19 And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
3:20 And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.
3:21 And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armor, and upward, and stood in the border.
3:22 And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood:
3:23 And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.
3:24 And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.
Look at what prophetic praise can do! When you give God prophetic praise, everything you do will bring success. When you are thirsty for favour, from God, you need to praise God. A look to men for favour. The first person you need to look at for favour is God.
Acts 2:42 says the Apostles of Jesus Christ praised God and He released favour on them.
2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
The Apostles were praising God and having favour. They were praising God and having favour! They were praising God and having favour! There are some people who certain people are supposed to bless but because they lack favour, when they set eyes on them, the get annoyed and hold on the the blessings but because of your praise, God will let you get favour in their sight!
The thing you need to back your praise is faith, Hebrew 11 says anyone who comes to God must believe He exists. The Apostles had nothing. If you start to praise God, favour from north, south, east and west would locate you!
Man cannot help you. It is only God who can help you. If you praise God, He will touch the heart of the man who is supposed to bless you. The Bible says the heart of the king is in the hands of God. Why are you giving people lip service? Why are you bringing down people? It is because you want favour from others! You are making a gross mistake; go and praise God!
Favour brings comfort, your access to favour is your praise. That is why God said David was a man after His own heart. It was because of praise!
David said in Psalm 119:164 that “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
The same David came back again and said no, seven times is not enough. He will praise God throughout. Psalm 34:1 says “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” This means in the morning he will praise God, in the afternoon, he will praise God, in the evening, he will praise God, at midnight he will praise God. When he is walking he will praise God, when he is sleeping he will praise God, when he is eating he will praise God!
It is discovery that brings recovery. Without understanding mystery, you cannot recover. The time has come for end time Christians to praise God with shouting, singing and jumping.
In your darkest hour, what can bring you out is your praise. Your praise will make your darkest hour your brightest hour. The Bible says in Act that at midnight, Paul and Silas praised God from the prison. Midnight is the darkest hour. It can get no darker after midnight. These Apostles praised God and their chains fell off and they became free. Do you know that today is your brightest day? If only you praise God well. I don’t care what they are calling you, praise can change it!
Paul and Silas prayed and suddenly there was an earthquake and the prison chains fell off. Whatever prison you are in, you will come out by your praise!
Anytime you are praising God, you are giving Satan headache. Why? Because that was his duty in heaven before he was fired. Satan, unclean spirits or demons cannot stand strong praise. The moment you praise God, the devil becomes uncomfortable. Bible says in II Chronicles
20:20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
20:23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
When they began to praise God, God slaughtered the enemies of the children of God. Do you know that praise can slaughter your enemies? AS you will praise God, all your enemies will fall!
Praise brings God down! This man called David praised God and God made an everlasting covenant with him and his descendants. The success of Solomon was as a result of the praises of David. This day, God will establish a covenant with you.
Jeremiah 33:17
33:17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
33:19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
33:20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
Can you imagine this covenant? Just as the sand of the sea cannot be counted, so would the descendants of David and the Levites be. Jesus was to come down form David’s own tribe. Praise is the answer to glorious life.
In II Samuel 6 when the ark of covenant returned, David danced with all his power and might. God blessed him. The Bible says someone looked at him and said, look at the king of Israel, look at the thing he is doing. He is behaving like a slave boy. When they returned to the room, this woman, called Micaiah came and told David, “Oh today I saw a wonderful thing, I saw the king of Israel ‘misbehaving’. The King of Israel was behaving himself like a shepherd boy”. And David got angry. David had been praising God because he knew what God had done for him. He was an ordinary shepherd boy who God had elevated to the status of priest then to warrior, then to king and then to the status of a prophet. The curse of God came on this woman, Micaiah and she became the only barren woman in the Bible.
The power of God was so much on David that when the husband of Abigail, Nabil spoke against him, he proclaimed death on him and he died. When you praise God to a certain level, anything you utter will be established. We are going to praise God and anything you say will be established. If it comes to praise, there is no gentle man or gentle lady. If you cannot praise God, it connotes that you are proud. Even those who worship idols praise their gods to a level where they pour oil on themselves and begin to cut themselves.
Look at Psalm 150
150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
150:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs
Praise God with the timbrels and dance. It means as they beat the drums you have to dance. Everything is praising God. The sheep, mountains and trees are praising God so you who were created in the image and likeness of God ought to praise God more!
150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Are you ready to praise God? Now praise God with all your heart!
