Intro: the other day I saw an ad for a certain multi vitamin that stated that it contained 100% of every essential vitamin your body needs. Over the years I see the Word of God, the promises of God, as the multi-vitamin for your Spiritual man, it contains everything you need for eternal life. Two books that Lauri and I keep with us that are very good for standing are, the bible promise book, and God¡¦s creative power for healing, along with John Hagee¡¦s healing scriptures.

IX. Stand in Faith¡XHebrews 11:1¡Xsubstance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. When you face a battle it is your faith that will get you through.
„[ Hebrews 11:6¡Xyou must believe that he is¡Xand that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek after Him. When you are in a struggle, you must believe that God is there for you, and that if you diligently seek after Him, He will reward you.
„[ Mark 11:22- Jesus said unto them, have faith in God. Before you speak to your mountains and see them moved, before you see your miracle come to pass, you must realize it is your faith, but what your faith is in, God. Your faith is the first part of the verse, and God is the end of everything. It is not your ability in your faith, but your faith in his ability.
„[ James 1;6- But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering¡Xif your faith won¡¦t be moved, if you will keep standing when everything is falling apart, you will have the petitions you ask for. Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.
X. God¡¦s Faithfulness---Numbers 23:19¡XGod is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent; he hath said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken and shall not make it good.
„[ His compassion fails not, great is His faithfulness¡Xwhen God tells you something, it is settled. He will not go back on His promise to you. As Christians we stand on the faithfulness of God.
„[ Psalms 105:8¡Xhe hath remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. God takes covenant with us a lot more serious than we can know. He sealed it in the blood of the Lamb, he swore by his own name not to ever go back on what he has spoken to us.
„[ Psalms 119:89-90 For ever, O lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is to all generations. God isn¡¦t just the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He is God to every generation that will call on His name.
XI. God¡¦s Favor¡XPsalms 30:5¡Xin his favor is life, weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.
„[ When you have God¡¦s favor resting on your life, he will open doors that no one can shut, he will shut doors that no one can open. He can make your enemies to be at peace with you.
„[ Blessed in your rising up and setting down, your going out and you coming in, he will make you the lender and not the borrower, he will make you the head and not the tail.
„[ You will live in houses you didn¡¦t built, and eat from vineyards you didn¡¦t grow.
XII. God¡¦s Presence¡XPsalms 23:4-yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me.
„[ I Peter 3:12¡Xsays the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears are opened unto their prayers. God is watching over me. God is listening to my cry in the night, I am never alone, He is with me.
„[ Isaiah 43:2 I am going through the fire and the flood, I will not drown and I will not be burned, because God is with me in the midst of it all.
„[ Psalms 46:1¡XGod is my refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. You don¡¦t have to wait for Him to arrive, He is already there. Just call out His name.
Close: years ago at Southeastern they had an event called Pillow fight night, the last man standing. You brought your pillow, and whacked people until they fell down. If you fell you were out. It was a fun night, and no one got hurt. But life is not a pillow fight, and you get hit hard, and sometimes it hurts. But if you will stand in the places where Christians stand, you will make it, you will survive, and you will stand, having done all, you will stand.
