Don’t give up too soon–Christians are wimps........

So how can we find out what we we’re born for—I cant tell You

4 ways to find out what you were born for
1. Accept Your Situation- James 1:2-3
Quit looking for a way out—God is not a magician
He’s real- he doesn’t use magic to fix a problem—
He uses himself---
WHICH MEANS—He’s going to use the CHURCH
Today’s church has an escape mentality–
Hold a meeting on the RAPTURE—Fill it up
Hold one on standing strong- Facing Chaos—
Not a building small enough-- to hold em
The time I’ve grown the most–
was when I stayed in the middle of CHAOS
God help use me for–direction, peace, guidance, deliverance
Which will you do----Suck it up----Back it up
There are times when we need to bail—
Many times we need to be D.C. RILEY
God has place me here to save New Orleans
2. Ignore Your strengths– 1 Cor 1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”
I’m not saying God won’t use what you’re good at–
I’m saying don’t rely that—
That’s going to be your mealticket

Sometimes your strengths—are the things keeping you from your destiny

GOD will take our weakness and confound the wise with it
3. Prepare Yourself- Ester 4:15-16
Make up your mind to be a world Changer—
That’s what Jesus was
“well if it happens, it happens” “God’ll let me know”---
ARE YOU READY—Waiting for prosperity, healing—
Are you ready for it
Good stewards of what you’ve got----
Can you give up handicap sticker
If we’re going to realize what we’re born for----Let’s prepare ourselves
It’s like --- 2 a days or parenthood—
You’ll never be 100% ready—
4. Move in faith- VS 17-
Doesn’t mean- walk around with a death wish
Hey I’m trusting God –to get me through this—
If I’m born for it—I gotta be willing to die for it
If terrorist took over America tomm.–
They’re coming after preachers—
I want to be a threat to cults, religion, false teachers, pharisees
They might kill me—But maybe I’m here to change them
Take a look at your situation---
Don’t back down... maybe you were born for such a time as this
