Summary: It is a matter of continuing, not for a minute or two, neither for a day, or two, but wait upon the Lord till he comfort your heart and soul.

ARE WE TALKING THE WALK; OR WALKING THE TALK?

I. KJV 1 John 2:6 “HE THAT SAITH HE ABIDETH IN HIM OUGH HIMSELF ALSO TO WALK, AS HE WALKED.”

A. Are we to call ourselves by his name, yet not walked the path that our Lord has trodden with his nail pierce feet?

1. The Word abideth is translated to remain, stay, live, dwell, continue, abide, persist, wait for.

a. Are we abiding in Him, who waited upon his Father, each step of the way while on earth?

b. For it is said of him that he walked the path that the Father has given him.

c. Are we staying on our knees till we could hear his voice speaks to our ears saying; don’t worry remember you are on the palm of my hand and no body can take you away from me, go in peace for thy prayers have been answered.

d. We are call to live in Him as he did in his Father, we are to place our tents in his dwelling place and wait upon Him.

e. It is a matter of continuing, not for a minute or two, neither for a day, or two, but wait upon the Lord till he comfort your heart and sour.

2. We are to be persistent as we abide in him:

a. Many are just two minutes prayers for a couple of days, but this is not what the Lords want from us.

b. He has loves you with an everlasting love. Do you know what it means to be love with an everlasting love? No you don’t for you are a merely human being!

3. But Jesus knows for his love for his creatures is an everlasting one.

a. He knows what it means to abide in the full meaning of the word. No matter where you are today, or where you going to be tomorrow, he has been waiting for you.

4. No even death can disconnect you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus – Roman 8:32-36

5. When Satan comes with false accusations reminded him (for he tends to forget a lot) that Christ has made you victorious by His blood. Tell him that the temptation and trials you are facing today is to prepared the way so that you can walk in the sea of glass without been touch by evil.

a. Let us be persistent brothers and discourage not, for there is a reward for them that love till the end.

b. Do not let your love be extinguished because of the evil which is in the world today.

c. Oh dear Lord gives us perseverance by given us the patience of the saints and make us victorious on our daily walks with thee

II. MANY ARE IN THE WORLD TODAY THAT ARE REMAINING IN ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING BUT JESUS

A. Many are in the world today upon whom their glory is not in the knowledge of God, but in the lust of the world and the pride of life.

1. Their life is present tense only; they are like the animals and plants which are born today, they grow, multiply and died.

a. They know not of the things that are everlasting, neither do they know how to treasures up riches in heaven.

b. Their life’s main focus is on the moment they live today.

c. When death comes they are like the clouds that are vanished from our site in a split of a second.

d. They said they fear no death, there is no God in their notion, nor will they consider the Creator of all things.

e. They are not touched by the solemn messages of the gospel of Christ, neither do they tremble by the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6-12.

f. They are the one upon whom the mark of the beast will find it rest.

g. Even thought they will find neither rest day nor night for they have rejected the Lord of Shabbat.

h. Since they live the moment they prefer to buy and eat today for tomorrow we will die is their theme song.

i. The life of Christ that gives eternal life to the sinners is not appreciated in their site.

2. They find no rest because they did not appreciate to spend time with their Creator; they heard not the voice of the Good Shepherd calling them to find rest in Him.

a. The day upon which the Almighty call them for sanctification has no weight upon them, and they mocked at it as if it were just any other day.

b. They will know of the wrath of God, when they eyes find no rest day nor night!

c. They will be craving for the voice of the Good Shepherd on their ear “come unto me all you who are labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest”.

3. The student search and look here and there, but not in the Word of God.

a. They think they know everything under the heaven, and that is truth, for they only lack the knowledge of the things above and without this everything comes to naught.

b. They know not the old path of life tread by the prophets of old, neither the one tread by God Himself in the person of Jesus.

c. But while there is time the Lord is still waiting and calling upon the lost sheep.

d. Oh God be merciful and rest not until we find our rest in thee!

e. For if thou turned thy face we are nothing but dust, or the chaff that is blow by and is not more.

f. Let us not abide with the wicked those whom heart is not with thee, but save us from the plaque which is to fall upon those who will take the mark of the beast.

g. Let us turn to the Lord while there is time still, for tomorrow could be late.

II. BUT THE WORSE THING OF ALL IS THAT THEY PROCLAIM TO BE CALLED BY THE NAME (CHRIST), YET THEIR ACTION SHOW OTHERWISE

A. This people are Christian by name, they are so deceived that they believe themselves to be Christians, yet their actions show otherwise.

1. Their parents are Christian their grandfather were Christian they were born on the church.

2. They know the heart of the doctrine but not the heart of God.

3. They can not see nor feel the pain they are causing our Savior with their actions.

4. They proclaim to know Him that loves us, yet they love not their brother.

5. They proclaim to know him that love sinners yet hate evil, but their action show otherwise, they love evil and hates sinners.

6. We have become like the Pharisees of old full with the leaven of hypocrisy.

7. But even a dog knows when he is love by his master; we are only fooling ourselves, by gathering more sins upon our head.

8. There are others in church that has made Christ the branches and they think of themselves to be the vines when no such authority is given them by God.

9. We look upon our brother with an evil eye, yet we expect God to look down on us. We do the missionary work every Sabbath, but the fruit of our labor is lacking, because we abide no in the vine.

10. We go out without sufficient prayers or without confessing our sins by begging God for forgiveness.

11. We forgot to open the word of God, to look for treasures to share with the lost and as a result of that Satan overcomes us in the battle field.

B. Another problem is that we become stumbling blocks to those who fixed their eyes upon us looking for an example.

1. By walking in darkness with delude other in the wrong path; it is a great sin to make one stumble when we could have guided him in the way everlasting. The price of those that stumble upon our bad testimony by the way of which we lives is very costly.

2. It is the life of Jesus Himself that precious blood that is pours out as we misrepresent him before the world.

3. Walking in darkness does not prove satisfactory to us nor to the infidel for He said.

4. KJV 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

5. We are called to be in fellowship with him yet we missed the point, by walking in darkness.

a. Let Jesus go before us so that our labor can be fruitful - KJV Psalm 85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

b. God is calling us to be a sweet-smell wherever we go –

c. JV Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

6. But this can only be done when we abide in His love –

7. KJV 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

My prayers if that the Lord will helps us to abide in Him, so that we can bring forth fruit for his glory, we need to be able to say to others -

KJV 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
