Look unto Me
Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Is just a look enough?
Should we do something more?
Look to me only ……
1. Because the kingdom is His
1Ch 29:11-12 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
Psa 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the governor among the nations.
Psa 103:19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
All means all.
Mat 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
2. Because the Power is His
Job 42:2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
He can do it.
3. Because life and death is His
Job 12:7-10 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Joh 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Not just Life, death yoo is under his control. Look to Him, when facing sickness or death around you …. look to Him, He might have something to tell you!
4. Because the final word is His
Pro 19:21 There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
Pro 20:24 Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?
Isa 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
Satan, evil men, you … He will do His pleasure. Look to Him.
5. Because no one can question Him
Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Not of ours but of His! Whose is more wise and fair? Why are you worried about it? God is love, no need to question Him. You need to look to Him.
Isa 45:9-10 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
6. Because Mercy and salvation is from Him
Jer 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Isa 45:5-7 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
How sad you are when you look to someone else ….
Joh 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Look unto me …. I am the good shepherd.
