I would like you to read this chapter with rapt attention because you might not come across a message like this again. One point that should be clear to you, which surprisingly, is not clear to many people, including pastors, is the fact that God’s definition for many things is different from Man’s definition. God’s definition of death is certainly different from ours. For example, some people were crying because Lazarus had died but Jesus told them that he was sleeping.
When God created Man, He put him in the Garden of Eden. He gave Man dominion over everything He created and God warned Adam not to eat from the tree of Life.
Genesis 2:16-17:
“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die”.
Adam ate the fruit and he experienced death; even though he lived for 930 years. This means that it is possible for heavens to have declared a person as being dead, but the person is still moving about. This means that there are corpses moving about on our streets. Sometimes, people cry for the dead but they do not know that the person had died many years back.
In MFM, we pray against evil powers and when we say ‘Die!’ we are commanding the powers that are responsible for the bad situation at hand. To cease to exist or function, because they are the ones energizing it for destruction. We are not telling Mr. ‘A’ or Mrs. ‘B’ to die. Death has many different definitions.
Revelation 31:
“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write: “These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: “I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead”.
This is a very fearful statement, that shows that a person could be breathing in and out, but as far as heaven is concerned, he or she is dead. As far as the Bible is concerned, there are sixteen types of dead people, which I would like to expose to you, before we zero in, into our topic.
The Living, but ‘Dead’ people
1. Those that are associated to strange women
Proverbs 2:16-19
“To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life”.
If you are a married man and you have a girl friend, you are a dead man. If you are a married woman ad you have a boy friend, you are a dead woman. You could be the chairperson of one association or the other, if you are living in sin, whether you are married or not, you are a dead person; as far as the Bible is concerned.
2. Those who patronize prostitutes
Proverbs 725:
“Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths”.
3. Those who lack spiritual understanding
Proverbs 2116:
“The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead”.
4. Those who have familiar spirits, or are witches or wizards
Isaiah 819:
“And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? For the living to the dead?”
5. Those living a desolate life
Isaiah 5910:
“We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men”.
6. Those who are in spiritual slumber.
Their spiritual monitor is dead and they do not dream of see visions.
Ephesians 514:
“Wherefore he saith: “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light”.
7. Those who live in pleasure
1Timothy 56:
“But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth”.
8. Separation of spirit from body.
James 226:
“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also”.
9. Those appointed to death.
Psalm 10220:
“To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death”
10. Sinners: haters of God
Proverbs 836:
“But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death”.
11. Those pursuing evil
Proverbs 1119:
“As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death”.
12. Misuse of Tongue
Proverbs 1821:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof ”.
13. Those who tell lies to get rich
Proverbs 216:
“The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death”.
14. The Carnally-minded
Romans 828:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose”.
15. The second death
Revelation 2014:
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death”.
16. Those captured by Graveyard spirits
Isaiah 14 9-11:
“Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee”.
Psalm 883-5:
“For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength: Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand”.
Psalm 3117:
“Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave”.
1 Peter 3 9-13:
“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?”
The grave is a place of decay’ worms darkness, corruption, a place where Man, created from dust, mixes back with dust. It is a place of the dead. The grave has its own gates, so does hell. Evil men and dark kingdoms are always interested in and attracted to the grave, because the greatest treasure on earth, where you find buried talents, brains, unfulfilled dreams, unrealized desires, dead potentials, and so on. It is in fact the richest place on earth; but many people do not realise this. When Satanists and evil people want to terminate the life of a person, they go to the grave, call the living through the gates of the grave and go there to cause trouble for them. There are many agents of the grave all around us now and it is unfortunate that they are having a lot of success.
One day, a man accompanied his wife to a hairdressing salon and he saw the hair stylist behind the counter, collecting the water she used in washing the hair her clients, in a bottle. She wash using that means to transfer the virtues of people who went there to get themselves beautified. They end up losing their virtues for beauty. That led to the woman’s decision to stop going there.
Some people have restaurants and they collect the water with which clients wash their hands in a bowl, in order to capture their virtues. Some collect the water with which a sick person was washed and they would throw it on the road. The first person that steps on that ground would collect the sickness.
There are people who pretend to be selling shoes and there would be only one foot to be tried on. When someone tries it on and places his or her foot on the ground, the marriage of the person will turn upside down. This is because the spirit of the graveyard has taken control. This means that we have many living corpses going about now and the graveyard spirit is capturing many more every day.
Many people are going about in sin and that makes it easier for the graveyard spirits to capture them. When you have not sinned and are living a holy life, Satan is a parasite. Immediately you go into sin, Satan becomes your master. That is why it happens that when a person dies in sin, it is a second death.
A man took a prostitute home and they committed fornication. Later, the man got up to ease himself. By the time he got back to the room, he found only the body of the woman; her head had disappeared. The man tried to run but the door had disappeared. That man was already a dead man, even though he was still moving about.
Another man went to another prostitute. After locking herself up, the woman began to beat the man. She beat him mercilessly until he almost fainted.
Another man got married and went home with his bride. At about 1 am. He got up to ease himself and by the time he came back to the room, his wife had disappeared and there was a coffin in the place where the woman was lying before. When prayer warriors got there, they found out that the coffin was empty.
There are Satanists all around us. They go to graves to get information and dispatch all sorts of sicknesses on people. They go there for power and to destroy fellow men and women. That is why sometimes, there are some graves that have chains tied around them. Their relatives who are being troubled by the ghost of the person who died have put those chains there. They carry out some rituals and then, chain the grave.
Some people go to graveyards to look for means of getting wealth. Our concern in this message is the fact that there are some virtues that have been captured by graveyard spirits; there are powers from the graveyard that have thrown sicknesses into the world. Those are the sicknesses that doctors cannot diagnose or treat. There is nothing they can do about it and there is no way that they can arrest it, because of the terribleness of the situation.
Today, you have to pray very hard. In as much as you are still walking on the surface of the earth, you have to pray against the graveyard spirits. It is possible that even though a person is walking about, heaven considers him or her as being dead, because he or she has been captured by the powers of the graveyard spirits.
Do you notice that your problems get compounded, even though you try hard to get them solved? There could be some graveyard spirits that have conspired against you. Do you notice that if you put your hands on something good, it dies off? Do you sometimes see yourself in the dream; in a graveyard? Are you still connected to a dead relative? Do you notice that you are not making progress, or that you are retrogressing? Do you find out that things go really bad before you make any progress? Do you find out that there seems to be a power resisting your progress, even though you pray hard, you shout, but there is no improvement?
It means that the graveyard spirits are closely behind you and they are harassing your destiny.
There are some prayers that I would like you to pray, which will go really deep. Many people have relatives who formed covenants with them and are now dead. Such covenants will still be binding, until they are commanded to be broken. I want you to really understand the crux of this message, so that you will deal violently with the graveyard spirits.
Way Forward:
1. Surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. Flee from every appearance of evil.
1 Peter 313:
“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?”
3. Wage war against the graveyard spirits.
In this particular edition of ‘Sound the Battle Cry’, you have the opportunity of sending prayers back to your history. You can send prayers to confront any dead relative who is withholding your virtues. You can send prayers to exhume any of your virtues that have been buried.
The Bible says:
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”.
Philippians 2:10-11
The things underneath the earth are the graveyard spirits. They cause a lot of trouble for Man. They are so strong that in the past, they held the righteous in bondage. It was when Jesus came that He went to set the captives free. You have an opportunity today, to react against these terrible forces.
Many people do not understand the fact that they are being caged gradually. In 1993, a man wanted promotion at all cost. There were five people before him and the only way he could get promoted was through the elimination of those five people. He went to see a wicked native doctor, who told him that the law of life says: “If the lot of one person does not get spoilt, the other person will not advance in life.” The native doctor told him that, the way out was to go to the grave of a dead man, who was very wicked and used to kill human beings and ate their body parts and drank their blood. The man went to the cemetery and saw the attendants, who took him to the grave for a fee. He said the grave was very old. They explained how wicked the man in the grave was when he was alive. The herbalist told him to sleep on that grave for seven days without food. The man did it. After some time, there was a ceremony somewhere and the five senior officials in his office attended. On their way back, their vehicle was involved in a ghastly motor accident and all of them died. Automatically, this man was promoted.
When you look at it, you sometimes wonder at what Satan’s children would do and the length they would go to just to perpetrate evil. Some believers cannot fast for 3 days and here was a man who went through 7 days dry fast in the quest for promotion through an evil means. Unfortunately for him, the wife of one of them was a Christian and she prayed fervently. In fact, she cried unto the Lord to avenge her. She had preached to her husband but he refused to get born again. She rained the vengeance of God upon any power that was responsible for the death of her husband. At that level the angels of darkness began to pursue that man. He went here and there for help but did not get any. Things got really bad and he almost died but he had time to surrender his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Eventually someone introduced him to MFM, he went through deliverance and began to burn for the Lord.
Beloved, what I am saying is that, this man offended many people and even sent them to an untimely grave. It is finished for those ones because nothing can be rectified after death. However, he, the wicked, had time to repent and the Lord accepted him. That is why you should not allow evildoers to chew you like stick. God is a merciful God and He does not want the death of a sinner, but that he or she should repent and be saved.
Therefore, if you know that you are not born again, I would advise that you surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ right there where you are. All you need do is to acknowledge the fact that you are a sinner and that you cannot approach God in your sinful state. Confess your sins to Him, name them one after the other, ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Claim the redemptive power in the Blood of Jesus that was shed for the remission of your sins.
Invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your life; ask Him to come in and take control of your life. Enthrone Him over your life and ask Him to become your personal Lord and Saviour. Say good-bye to the world and the devil and decide that you will never go back to them any more.
I congratulate you on this decision that you have just taken. It is the most important decision that you could ever take. I pray that it shall be permanent in your life, in the Name of Jesus. I pray that the Lord will lay His hands upon you and keep you standing by His power, in the Name of Jesus. I pray that your name will be written in the Book of Life in the Name of Jesus.
Maybe you have been experiencing problem expansion and backward progress, poverty and your money is being swallowed by the enemy. It seems as if some powers have been denying you of your rightful position. Maybe good things are being silenced in your life and some powers are carting away the good things that are about to happen in your life. Or maybe you keep seeing dead relatives, you must pray hard today.
Confess any sin that you know can cause a hindrance to your breakthroughs, and that will hinder you from obtaining power from God. Ask the Lord to forgive you and have mercy on you. Confess any sin that will make evil powers to refuse to let you go. If you have ever been to a grave for any fetish purpose or you have ever constructed a coffin for yourself or a miniature coffin you have to pray very well. Power against the grave-yard spirits can only be obtained under the canopy of Matthew 11:12 which says: “As from the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent taketh it by force.”
There are many Christians whose virtues have been stolen and buried, if such people will pray very violently today, these prayer points will affect their lives for generations.
Pray these prayer points with holy violence and with determination in your spirit:
- 1.Every grave -yard power hunting for my destiny, you are a liar, therefore die! in the Name of Jesus.
- 2.Every power of the grave -yard, holding on to any part of my life, lose your hold, in the Name of Jesus.
- 3.Every connection between me and graveyard spirits, break, in the Name of Jesus.
- 4.I command every injection of darkness pumped into my blood, to come out by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
- 5.Every soul tie with graveyard spirits, die! in the Name of Jesus.
- 6.Every evil wind, blowing against me from the graveyard, release me and die! in the Name of Jesus.
- 7.Every sickness from the graveyard, working against my life, lose your hold upon my life! in the Name of Jesus.
- 8.Let every conscious and unconscious covenant with the dead, break! in the Name of Jesus.
- 9.Every power from the grave, that wants me to die before my time, die! in the Name of Jesus.
- 10.My virtues in the graveyard, come out now! in the Name of Jesus.
- 11.Every witchcraft power, going to the graveyard for my sake, I curse your existence, in the Name of Jesus.
- 12.Every gate opened against me at the grave, CLOSE! in the Name of Jesus.
