NOTHING BACK THERE

SCR READNG: HEB 10: 38 - 39
[38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
[39] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
As I continue to grow in faith and mature in the word of GOD, I have learnt that in order to attain goal or achieve success we must have a determined and fixed mind. David said in the book of Psalm 112:7 that "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD"
My brethren, I want to confirm to you today that no matter where you are today, that is not where you are going, you are in a journey and you have a destination ahead of you. You are on your way to a very higher level. You might be in a stand still now, that is not your destination, you might be in a position that you cannot even figure out, don’t be confused, that is not where you are going because you have a desitnation. I have the previledge to tell you that you are just passing by where you are at the moment. In order to overcome and reach where we are going, we must have our eyes and mind opened, fixed and focus on where we are going. We must keep going and no turning back.
Heb 10: 38 said "the just shall live by faith, it means in time of greatest affliction, we must live by Faith, trust in God, live upon His faithfulness that are new every morning and wait His time, because He make everything perfect in His own time. It is a pity that when people are greatly afflicted they tends to look back but I can say to you today that turning back is a very terrible thing to do that is why Heb 10:39 said that we must not be one of those who draw back. We have to realise that we are in a journey to a desitination, we are bound to encounter battles on the road of life. When we plan to build a castle we have to envisage that when climbing to reach the top, we might encounter obstacles and barriers but still we must not loose our focus.
When you hit the highways, don’t turn back!
When you encounter road block, don’t turn back!
When you are faced with pitfalls, don’t turn back!
Jesus said in Lk 9:62 that people who are looking back are
Not fit for heaven!
Not fit for promised land!
Not fit for Palace!
Not fit for God’s blessing and not fit to be blessed! So brethren, it is dangerous and risky to be turning back.
Exodus 16: 1-3
1] And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
[2] And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
[3] And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
This passage said when Isrealite are on their journey to Promised Land, as soon as they encounter some difficulties on the way, they began to murmur again Moses, their Leader that "They should have died in the hand of God in the land of egypt, at least we can still have our stomach fill "That is exactly what some people do refer to what they use to have and do when they encounter some delays. People tends to rush back into what they use to do or the olden days religion when they are stuck in traffic of Life. They tend to forget the God that gave them the initial go ahead as soon as they encounter road blocks that the enemies has design and placed on their way intentionally to cause delay, discourage, derail and debar their progress.
Instead of regretting walking in that way and condemning yourself and saying I shouldn’t have, could’ve, should’ve, would’ve’s…!” “ I could’ve… I should’ve… If I only would’ve, you should have just keep trust in the One who brought you that far. Did you realise that you did not get to where you are at this moment by your own ability? He saw you to this place and He would have leave you where you are if he did not have a better plan for you. He brought you this far because he have a great future and plan for you. So stop looking back, the past has nothing to do with your destiny. You cann’t see your future looking backwards but you can both see and receive it by looking forward because there is NOTHING BACK THERE!
He delivered you from your past because He knows there is nothing back there!
He delivered you from prositution because He knows there is nothing back there!
He delivered you from alcohol because He knows there is nothing back there!
He delivered you from smoking because He knows there is nothing back there!
He delivered you from lesbianism because He knows there is nothing back there!
He delivered you from those petty stealing because He knows there is nothing back there!
So when you encounter road blockages on the way to your destination, don’t just look back into your past. When you cannot pay those bill don’t just think of those olden days when you do those dirty deals and those little stealings! He delivered you from it and you are forbidden to go back into it. Don’t be tempted to to go back into those religion bondage any more. He has set you free from them and if the Son set you free, you are free indeed. Don’t turn back darling! Some of us God has delivered us from those things but we haven’t come out of them totally. God has brought you out of those things but you can still think of going back to them because you haven’t brought it out of you!
God has delivered you out of sugar mummies and furnication, you deleted all those women’s number from your phone but kept one just in case!
God has delivered you from those addicted drugs but you kept one satchet at home just in case!
You are confessing that you are born again and you are still doing those things the world are doing!
You are confessing Jesus as your Lord but you still join them to call mystic Meg lines! Devil is a liar!!! Your eyes are in Cannan but your heart and mind are still in Egypt!
God said to Lot in Genesis 19:15-17
With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, "Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished." When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, "Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!
Genesis 19:24-26
Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah-- from the LORD out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities-- and also the vegetation in the land. But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
God said to Lot to leave Gomorrah and no turning back but Lot’s wife turned back and become pillar of salt.
Turning back is rejecting the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Turning back means shedding of the blood means nothing to you. Turning back means you are saying Jesus did not die for you. II Cor 5:17 says ’Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature and old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new" The devill will always try to remind you of the past power sources but remember Lot’s wife.One thing that we have to know is that when we accept Christ it mens no going back into the world. NO GOING BACK BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING BACK THRE!
If we read John3:1- 5
1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
At night Nicodemus came to see Jesus "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".Nicodemus said "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?" But Jesus said, "You can never go back where God has pull you out off" You cannot go back to your vomit(Proverbs 26: 11).
A baby in her mother’s womb is sorounded with amonic fluids will be there in the darkroom of womb for 9 months. The baby will come out after 9 months when the birth carnal opens. The baby will come out from the dark room of the womb to the light of the world and start to cry, but no matter what the baby encounter, he cannot go back to where he came from. He can never again!
God has brought you this far, you cannot go back again!
He sustained you this far, you cannot go back again!
He helped you this far, you cannot go back again!
He lifted you up when all forsaked you, you cannot go back again!
He reedemed your soul from destruction, you cannot go back again!
He brought you from pit to palace, you cannot go back again!
You cann’t just go back, whatever happpens happens, we have to deal with, whatever we have to go through, we have to go through because we cannot just go back.
There is nothing back there.One thing I’m sure of is this - we are better off where we are than where we’re coming from. God send me here today to serve you a notice that come rain or sunhine, come pitfall or potholes, come up or downs you are forbidden to go back! God send me to someone going through difficult time at this moment and thinking of doing what you use to do, you cann’t just go back.
I might be dealing with strange things at the moment but I cann’t go back because there is nothing back there. I am better off those I left behind back there and I have the boldness, confidence to announce to you that He that started His good work will bring it to perfection in the name of Jesus. Slap someone and say "You cannotjust go back"!
I may be weak, but cann’t go back!
I may be tired, but cann’t go back!
I may be lonely, but cann’t go back!
People may walk away from me because I don’t want to go back but cann’t go back!
I may be rejected, but cann’t go back!
I may not be there yet, but cann’t go back!
I may not be on television yet, but cann’t go back!
I’ve gone too far turn back, I’m very close to my destination.
I have tasted the heavenly gift......
I have tasted freedom.......
I have tasted the riches of the Lord......
I have tasted the power in the blood of Jesus...
My soul has been free from bondage of religion...
I am free indeed.....
The snare is broken....my soul has been escaped ike a bird from the snare of the fowler......no going back into bondage!
You might just get use to me because there is no going back. I have tasted it and realise that it’s easy to serve the Lord - JUST LISTEN AND OBEY AND YOU WILL EAT THE BEST OF THE LAND.
GIVE GOD A HOLY GHOST PRAISE! NO GOING BACK BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING BACK THERE!
