I. Intro.
A. 56 men signed the Declaration of Independence? Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. What kind of men were they? men of means, well educated. But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.

2. Acts 8- Tells about Saul persecuting
3. Acts 9- Saul on Road to Damascus
4. Paul was stoned, shipwrecked (3), put in prison, beaten yet he still stayed dedicated- 2 Cor. 11:22-28

VI. Conclusion
A. If I told you that when you went out to car tonight that you would be in a car wreck and fatally hurt…before you got in that car could you say like Paul…that you have been dedicated to Christ that you…have fought the good fight..Finished the course…and kept the faith. If not dedicated to Christ I would like to challenge, all of you to become dedicated to Christ….Lets Pray
