Are you ready to be a New Creation?
2nd Corinth 5:17-19
Tonight have We got one for you!!!
This message tonight is for Believers, Christians, Children of God, Sinners, Atheists....or whoever is willing to give the ole hillbilly a little bit of their time!!!!
And just listen to what God has sent you tonight.....
Here in our reading tonight, I want you to notice in God’s Word... that there’s some facts there about yourself as a new creation in the Lord....AMEN
The fact is if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior, then you
are a child of God...AMEN
But you’ll have to admit tonight, that this is completely true for everyone in the world...We hear a lot about the Fatherhood of God, or the Brotherhood of men,and that list goes on and on...
but in Jesus’ day he once said to the Pharisees,,
which were supposedly the most religious folks of His day....
1st John 8:44:
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do....
And it goes on to say that he is a liar and the father of it....AMEN....
Now you have to understand that God is the Creator of all mankind....
Everyone can say AMEN to that right???
But He is only the Father of those who have been borned again....AMEN...
I thank God tonight that I’m a new creature...
I was, I think in the 6th grade when I first accepted Jesus, and was baptized...in Ky.
But I strayed away from the Lord, But I thank God that He never gave up on me...
He kept on a knocking at my hearts door
no matter how many times I rejected Him...
But he finally put me to a low in my life that I realized that only God could pull me out of it!!!!!
You can ask my wife...I was so miserable right before I finally accepted the Lord...
But when I finally accepted Him.. I really knew that He saved me real GOOD....
Something happened on the inside of me..
It was in my spirit......
Like nothin that can ever even be explained
OOOHHH it felt like this church house was sitting on top of me...and when it happened it felt just like you lifted it off me...AMEN
I felt like I could just be floating around..
And then that same exact thing happened again when The Holy Ghost come knocking
on my hearts door, wanting me to accept that calling that Romans.11:29: says:
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.....
But here we go again with the Church house on top of me smothering me down..
And me trying to run from God about
being a preacher of His Word....
But there again not only did that heavy load leave me, but someone (THE HOLY GHOST) came into me...I wouldn’t the same person that I had ever been before..
There was a great change in me now...
I thank God tonight that as a believer you are a brand new creation.....AMEN....
Your whole spirit has been re-worked..
Not your body, now..you’ll still have the same ole body for now..But I’m talking
inside of your body, where the real you,
has begun to live now.....Your SPIRIT!!!!
The Apostle Paul calls man’s spirit the
inward man...
And he calls the body the outward man....
1st Corinth 4:16 says:
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day....
Peter calls this inner man the hidden man
of the heart....
1st Peter 3:4 says:
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price....
You have to realize that a man’s spirit is
not able to be seen by your naked eyeball..
No person on this earth can see the real you
People might think that they see you...
But they’re only looking at the house that you are living in....
Your Body....The outward man....
The real you, The inner man, or woman..
Is on the inside looking out through your
windows....most commonly known as eyes..
So no matter how well you think that you might know someone.. You ain’t never seen the real person inside....
You have only seen the house...AMEN
And this house that we live in is just gonna rot one of these days....but that real man that’s living on the inside is gonna continue to live on somewhere..For eternity....
And there’s where you have to make this choice of where your new address is gonna be.....
Your spirit is never gonna die.....
Just like that song no no no not I...
I’ll never die.....AMEN.....
In Luke 16:22...Jesus told of the little beggar..Lazarus...And it came to pass that the Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: the rich man also died and was buried....I said BURIED..
That’s a whole nuther sermon..........
This inner man who has become a new creation in Christ...has finally come into the family of God...He is a child of God....
He is in perfect union with the Master....
We are to be one with the Master......
The believer and Jesus are one...God’s word plainly tells is in 1st Corinth...6:17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit....
We are one with the almighty God!!!!!
Jesus said in the book of John...
One of my favorites...
I am the vine, and you are the branches...
And my Father is the husbandman...
When you look at a tree you don’t think that the branches are separate from the rest of the tree....
When you look at a big beautiful tree...You see it as just one....just a single tree,,AMEN
And this is how it is with us, and Jesus Christ...We are one....Our spirits are joined with Him....Jesus is the Head and we are His Body.....AMEN..........................
All things are possible to you.....
When I quote scriptures that say...
With God all things are possible...
Everyone would jump right in there with me and be in total agreement that God can do all things.....AMEN.....
But The same Bible that says All things are possible with God In Matt. 19:26 ... also says...in Mark 9:23 that All things are possible to Him THAT BELIEVETH.....
There’s always stipulations, in God’s word
Yes Salvation is Free to all who believe...
But....We have to make up our minds that we are gonna serve Him, Wholeheartedly...
Our translation of all this would read....
All things are possible to a believing one,,,
I quote that LOUD AND CLEAR
and then add.....I am a believing one....
The greater One is in you Tonight ...
1st John 4:4 : Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them Because,
GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU
THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD..
This scripture is so true and its all about you....AMEN
You maybe ain’t takin advantage of it like you ort to be though.....
But, It’s still true....IT IS YOUR’S...
Just think about that phrase in God’s word..
YE ARE OF GOD.....
That’s another way of saying you are born of God...John is sayin the same thing Paul said in 2nd Corinth...5:17:
If any man be in Christ, He is a new creature....
John is tellin us that we are born of God....That our spirits have been re-born..
Or Borned again......
It’s sad that a lot of people that really believe.... don’t know that they have been born of God In the new birth... and have received Eternal life...
They think eternal life is something that they’re gonna get when they make it to Heaven...You have it now...if you’re
borned again....AMEN...
You ain’t waitin on it.....
You’re just waitin to be re-located....
Most people think that they’ve received forgiveness of their sins but they have only been taught, that their sins have been forgiven, and they have to be very careful in their Christian walk in order to remain justified before God....
They’ve not been taught that the nature of God resides in their spirits...
It’s not been made clear to them that they are actually new creations in Christ...
I’m not talking about eternal salvation
or once in grace always in grace either..
But because of poor teaching and ignorance on some of our parts...sin and satan continue to reign over a lot of us.....
We have to understand that satan is a smoke blower...he wants to blind us any way that he can..so we’ll continue to serve him....he’d be so happy if us borned again believers would just go ahead and die and go on to heaven....but God is allowing us to stay here and torment the devil just a little bit longer....AMEN....
HOW MANY OF YOU LOVE TO
TORMENT THE DEVIL....??????
OOOhhhh but listen when we begin to understand what God’s trying to tell us..
We start knowing that the inside man, or the real man, has been borned again and is a new creation in Jesus Christ...they can begin to live according to the power of the Greater One who lives inside....
And then is when we begin to rule over that thing called sin....
And That’s when we begin to rule of that little guy called satin......In our lives....
Instead of lettin the satin rule over us...
SOMEBODY GIVE GOD PRAISE
IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT!!!!!
When the devil got whipped, when Jesus went to the cross, we too now can live in triumph over the devil....
Satan’s power was taken away by Jesus...
And I thank God that Greater is He that is in us than satan the god of this world...AMEN.......
MY GOD....
The Greater one is more powerful than demons....MY GOD The Greater one is more powerful than evil spirits....
He is greater than any sickness...
He is greater than any disease....
And He LIVES IN ME TONIGHT.....
And if you’ve let Him in ....
HE LIVE’S IN YOU TONIGHT...
He that is in us is greater than any force we could possibly come against.....
When John wrote about the greater one living inside of us... he was writing to borned again Spirit filled believers.....
I Promise you that all borned again, Spirit Filled believers have within their power’s and ready for use, all the power, and all the ability they will every need to put them over....OVER to the other side......
We are suited up and prepared for any emergency that could possibly come
our way....BECAUSE WHY??????
Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world........
2nd Corinth 6:16 says:
For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will Dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they Shall be My People!!!!AMEN.....
Does it sound far-fetched tonight that
God dwells inside of us?????
What does God’s word mean, if
it don’t mean what it says?????
I know that Our natural minds have such a hard time grasping it somtimes.....but the truth is...
God’s Word.....
The Bible tells us that we are the temple
of the Living God.....
Greater is He that is in you...............
The Holy Ghost....is a person,
He’s not just an influence or someone that’s not a person.....
Jesus said in John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter...
The Holy Ghost...
That He may abide with you for ever!!!!
Its time tonight to begin to understand that God the Father, and the person and power of the Holy Ghost, and Jesus Christ.....
Lives inside of us!!!!!
Its time for the Church’s tonight to become God - Inside - Minded....
For Way Too Long the Church has been weak - minded...and sickness - minded
and inferiority - minded...
Trouble - Minded......and Poverty - Minded
Does anybody know what we’ve done???
So many times And for so many years...
We have been so negative - minded
that ...for too long the negative side of life is all many of us have thought about and talked about.......
Our negative thinkin has done nothing but caused us to think about doubt....and Unbelief....and we’ve suffered spiritual failure in the Church and the Believer...
Can somebody say AMEN.......
We have allowed the devil to rob us of our Christian faith and living....
And we have allowed the devil to rob us of our abundant life that Jesus Christ intended for us to have..........
And its all because of what?? Negativity...
John 10:10 Jesus Said:
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have Life, and that they might have it More Abundantly....
We have to get Life minded....
Not death Minded......
The Bible says: 1st John 5:11
God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son....
We have to get prosperous - minded
God is a God of Plenty...
We have to get health-minded
not trouble minded....
God said in the book of Psalm
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him......
God didn’t say I’ll be waiting over on the other side of the river...
He said I’ll go with you every step of the way.....
Are you tired of walking that journey alone tonight?????
Are you ready for Jesus to be with you every step of the way?????
Romans 10:9 says:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou Shalt Be Saved...
Vs. 10 says:
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation....
Can you see now why Jesus said:
all things are possible to him that believeth?????
Jesus Said that because the God with whom all things are possible lives within us!!!!
