YOUR DESTINY AND HOUSEHOLD WITCHCRAFT
In this document, we are going to examine a number of things that are going on in the spiritual realms. This topic constitutes three keywords, destiny, household and witchcraft. Let us take them one after the other.
Destiny is God’s purpose for your life. It is a person’s ordained future. Right from the time God laid the foundation of the earth, God appointed your destiny. So from Genesis 1, we realise that man was supposed to have dominion on the earth. In verse 28, we realise that God has appointed us to be fruitful and multiply and this dominion is to move on from generation to generation. Prophet Jeremiah got a revelation in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has a plan for all people so right from the beginning; we are all destined to prosper and enjoy the best of the land as human being. As far as God is concerned, the plan for everyone is to see that individual prosper. You may say that if one problem or the other is my destiny, then let it torment me, but God wants you to move from that problem. It might be your wish to suffer, but God does not want you to suffer.
Household entails all the people around you. It includes the people who are related to you by blood. Cain was related to Abel by blood because they were off springs from one father and the same womb. Joseph and his brothers were all descendants of Abraham, Isaac and their father, Israel. The definition of household can also be stretched to include all the relatives or close associates of a person. In the case of Absalom, we can see Ahitophel as a household associate. They are the people within your own environment. These people know you inside out and they most often equate themselves to you as a person. They are close to you and can make or unmake you. In Matthew 10:21, Jesus hits the nail on the head and says that a man’s enemy shall be those of his household.
Witch is from the Greek word that means to bend. Witchcraft is a spirit that bends things. It is used only to destroy things and never to create. Witchcraft powers bend or make what is right wrong. Witchcraft powers are common in this part of the world because they form a part of the integral network of black powers.
We see here that witchcraft powers bend the perfect will of God in our lives to the wrong side. If there are things in your life that are bent and crooked, then we must see that the household wickedness is changing things in our lives. There are so many people that are not supposed to be where we are. As a matter of fact we should be occupying a position higher than our current positions but because of witchcraft, our destinies have been turned upside down. The Bible tells us that as Christians, we are supposed to be the head and not the tail, we should be above only and never beneath but we realise that in Christian lives, the reverse is the case. We are always beneath and never above. This tells us that household wickedness has a role to play in there.
Now let us ask ourselves how a person can know that he or she is under the influence of household witches and wizards. First of all, if you are living a life of no achievement, then you must know that you are being manipulated by household witchcraft.
There is another thing called spiritual defilement. These household witchcraft spirits pollute your life so that your life will not yield positive results. You may dream and see yourself in a filthy place or in a toilet or you are being mobbed by filthy flies. The purpose of this is to make your life unattractive and through that you will only magnetise evil things. In this case, they have defiled you spiritually.
One sign of the attack of witchcraft is polluted children. With these people, the household children will turn around the lives of their children. Though the parents are moving on well, the children will be vagabonds. In this case, you must know that the enemy or household witchcraft is at work.
Also, if you marry and you realise that there is marital troubles, you must know that there is a witchcraft attack somewhere. This is because right after creation, God said it was not good for man to stay alone so He created a woman to assist man. This tells us that marriage is an institution ordained by God Himself so it is a threat to witchcraft powers and they react by bending the marriage. Marriage is supposed to bring peace and understanding so if you experience war in your marriage, then you must appreciate the fact that household witchcraft are at work. You need to deal with them the way God has prescribed for them.
There is another thing called leaking pocket. There are some people who experience mysterious loss of money as if their hands are punctured. As a matter of fact there are some people who can misuse money and when told to account for the money, they will not even be able to say anything tangible enough. This shows that spiritually, a witchraft power has pierced holes in their pockets so they may be alright physically but spiritually, their pockets are like baskets and everyone knows how it is like to fetch water from the riverside to the house using a basket. You will surely come home with nothing! These people work hard but will not get anything in financial returns. There are so many people with prosperous jobs and yet they have nothing in the pocket nor in the bank. This is because witchcraft is afflicting them in the form of leaking pocket.
Another area is inexplicable loss of good things. They lose good things under mysterious circumstances. These people will get something very good and wonderful and everybody around them including household member will be praising them for that. All of a sudden, without any apparent reasons, they will soon lose all these good things.
What household witchcraft does is to inflict marks of hatred on fellow relatives. The case of Cain and Abel can be seen as an example of the operation of household witchcraft. The spirit that provoked Cain to hate Abel so much is purely rooted in household witchcraft. We see two prominent brothers destroying themselves because of household witchcraft. There are some of us who are hated wherever we go. In this case, we have a mark of hatred placed on us. This shows us that our lives are under the activities of household witchcraft
Some of us are operating under a vagabond spirit released upon us by household witchcraft. These people roam from place to place and from area to area without achieving much.
Another sign is that, the enemy will always be manipulating things in your life. The household witchcraft will force people to take wrong decisions and their minds will be diverted from what will be right for them. The Bible says that the steps of the righteous man shall be ordered by God and as we have already said, God wants you to prosper so your steps are supposed to move into goodness so everything you do as a Christian must yield positive results. However, because these spirits manipulate Christians, they will force people to take wrong steps. Someone was walking somewhere on a road when a lady attacked him saying this man is an armed robber. Immediately, the police was called into the matter and the man was arrested. Although this man was innocent, he stayed in police detention and was even imprisoned for a long time. He lost a lot due to this false accusation before it was established that he was innocent, why, because household witchcraft manipulated him to take the wrong steps! Always pray that every evil step prepared for you must be cancelled.
Household witchcraft causes you to enter debts you cannot easily pay. These are all traps by witchcraft powers. The Bible tells us that we should not owe anybody any thing but these household witchcraft spirits force us to fall into debts we will find it difficult to pay.
Other people are attacked by household witchcraft through poor business results. There are many of us who do not reap satisfactory returns from our investments. These are signs of household witchcraft attacks.
It is also common for some families to have a fixed age of death. This is an element of household witchcraft attack. They cause people to die before their time. In Africa, it is widely believed that these household witchcraft spirits meet in strange places spiritually at night and they ‘cook’ and eat one member of the family periodically as a feast, believe it or not it is real. You must fight against any such spirit.
In the same way there are people who are positioned in the wrong places by these household witchcraft spirits. Some of us as a matter of fact are square pegs in round holes whilst others are round holes with square pegs. Ask yourself am I in the right job? Have you been placed in the right place you were supposed to be placed?
There are other household witchcraft powers called problem expanders. When you are under their control, they put you under attack and toss you from one problem to another. Whilst one problem is being solved, another will begin to take its place.
These household witchcraft powers do not mind your status or financial standing; they will destroy your life if you allow them to! Now let us look at the way out. First of all surrender your life to God fully. Walk in the way of God-holiness. Also, know how to pray and wage war against these household witchcraft spirits. The Bible tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Also, try not to live in ignorance. Ignorance is a major way the devil fights against the church of Christ today. In most instances, when such messages of witchcraft are preached, many Christians criticize the preachers, this is a sign of spiritual blindness so pray and ask God to open your eyes to see what He wants you to see.
Everyday, they sit down and plan on how to destroy children of God so you must also wage a continuous war against them. Some people will also say that I have no problem with any witch so they will not attack me. I want to tell you that you do not need to offend a witch before they fight against you. Witchcraft is a spirit. The practitioners become very different people when they enter the spiritual realms and because of that when they are operating, they have no sympathy for anyone and because of this spirit, when they come into the physical realms, they regret what they did spiritually, but because they are possessed, they cannot do anything about it.
You have to pray strongly against them. This is because the Bible say in Exodus 22:18 that we should not suffer a witch to live so God has passed a verdict against them already. I want you to stand on that authority and pray these prayers loud and clear.
1. Any agenda by household witchcraft, be destroyed in the Name of Jesus
2. Any witchcraft activity going on against my life, be halted by the Blood of Jesus
3. Any witchcraft arrow fired into my life, go back to sender in the Name of Jesus
4. Any witch in my family, you are not supposed to live (Exodus 22:18) so die in the Name of Jesus.
