Shalom friends,
In the news it seems all we are hearing about is the hurricane and the mess it has caused. Today I also heard how the aftermath effects are due to the federal government. I’d like to attempt to clear a few misconceptions as someone asked me a question today that I found important to address to more than just one person, because it is a major question that a lot of people have.
Is this hurricane a sign of the end times? This answer to this question depends on if you believe that the end times started when Yeshua died on the Cross. It also depends on how you view prophecy. If you view prophecy as not existent then the chances are your not going to believe that’s some of it has been fulfilled, is currently being fulfilled and in the future will come too complete fulfillment. My precious friends in Him, I want you to understand this, so we will begin with a text from the Word of the Lord.
Matthew 24:4Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, ’I am the Christ,[a]’ and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains."
The key to this passage is the context in which it occurs. Is the War in Iraq in Scripture? NO its not. Is it a rumor of a war or the realization of a war? Are not nations rising up against Iraq and other nations around the world. More people have died in the last one hundred and twenty years of war than ever in the history of man. Is the rumor or the realization of wars actually occurring? I think the overwhelming answer is absolutely yes. Are their more earthquakes occurring? Yes.
Is Hurricane Katrina a message from the Lord? As I was thinking about this over the last several days, I began to think especially about where these hurricanes strike. They are all focused seemingly every single time around Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama. I began to think what is in Florida and these surrounding states. Nothing of major signifiance is in either one of these states other than mostly vacation spots, golf courses, a few major corporations/ministries and other than that nothing of note struck me. Yet then think about this: Where do most of the college/high students or other adults go for vacation? In this region people go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, or for spring break in New Orleans or Florida. Now that got me seriously thinking for several reasons.
Why would seemingly all the hurricanes be focused on such a concentrated area if not for several reasons other than the obvious geographical location? Lets be honest here; a storm could develop on the West Coast just as easily as it could on the East Coast, so there must be some reason the Lord is trying to get the attention of the people, and perhaps the attention of an entire nation. Is the vacation lands of Florida and New Orleans a message to our nation? To be honest I can’t answer that question because I’m not the Lord Yeshua, but I can offer some suggestions and insight to help you during this time in our nations history.
When I looked at the Seattle Times the title of one of the front-page articles read: Destruction in a US city or something to that affect. I sat back having not had the news on in over a week thinking; gosh destruction in a Us city. My friends what must happen is this; power has to shift from America across the pond into Europe and the Middle east. This is already occurring everyday as we are seeing more interested in the United Nations and the interests of the European Union everyday revolve around Israel. Friends listen; we are in the times of preparation, but again, I’d like to stress I don’t know the day or the hour, because nobody knows.
The signs are very clear however that any day the Lord could come. In my Spirit I know that this hurricane was definitely a message of what the Lord has been saying to me. Destruction has to come to America until it finally sees that it is not what it really is. The American people are heavily taxed, and our technology is going to support nations that have not our best interests at hand. Its a fact people, and its time to wake up that the American government is really selling our heritage for a cheap lie. Why? They have been doing it for ages, its just the people are so comfortable with "freedom" that they don’t really want to see the fact that we are a brainwashed people. The facts are that if we knew the Truth we couldn’t handle it and massive hysteria would ensue. Friends its time that we took comfort in the shalom of the Lord, not the shalom of man.
Its time for the American congregation to stop living under the false repenantance gospel that says you can sin; say your sorry, but not show the true fruits of repentance. I long for the day when believers will stand fully convicted of the power of the Lord God of Israel! I long for the day when we will be bold witnesses and on fire believers for His awesome purposes. I long for the day when we worship and sing hallejiuah to the Lamb of God. I long for the day when I get to stand face to face with the Lord, and bow at His feet. I long for the day to worship and sing Hallejiuah HALLEJIUAH TO THE LAMB OF GOD!
My fellow citizens of the United States its time that we took back our heritage. Its time that we stood upon the principles of of Forefathers who fought tyranny. The American government system is corrupt if you hadn’t figured out. The Supreme court is in shambles frankly with massive abuse of its constitutional governance it has become a means of its own end. How our government is run has become frankly a joke in the eyes of those who know what is going on, who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. It is time that we come out of the brainwashed false congregation and into the Truth of Messiah Yeshua. The only way that the congregation can change is when people see that they themselves need to change, and that change starts with repentance for how you have lived, and began to journey deep into the river of God’s Truth in His Word.
Friends, I plead with you today to hear. It is time that we proclaimed forth the holiness of the Lord of Hosts. It is time that we called a spade a spade, and people sinners. I am not saying walk up to the person tell them to repent, and if they don’t they are rotting in hell. Its time that we were motivated to actually do something with the grace we have been entrusted with. Its time in effect that we shined as beacons of hope to peopel who have no hope. Its time that we took the bull by the horns and did what our Lord instructed us, not be like the man or woman who looked in the mirror saw how pretty they were and then walked out in the street naked. My friends what we are doing is basically the same; look at the mirror then walked out the door without the very reason for our salvation; YESHUA! It is time that we allowed Him to come with us into every situation that we were in, because He is already there; we just have to acknowledge His presence.
Hurricane Katrina is a horrible natural disaster that has occurred. How will America respond to its own problems on its own soil? The answer to this situation still remains to be seen. How should it respond? The American church ought to respond by repenting of its laxness in proclaiming the gospel to those who died who didn’t get to hear the Gospel. Nine eleven was a wake up call, and this is another wake up call. I realize that some will think that this isn’t a compassionate enough thing to say considering the circumstances, but this is also the same attitude that has given away our morals to people who have no ethical standards, which is the problem of our nation. The attitude of comfort and political correctness has given way to a society of people who are afraid to speak their minds, be real and are comfortable with accepting the status quo. I; however, am not one of those people, and neither should you as an American citizen and a child of the living God.
God gave us the right to proclaim His Word by commanding us to share it with His creation. God did not give us the spirit of fear but the calling of conquerors and warriors for His name. It is time that we rose up, and stood up on our own two feet. Every time the American people have awoken out of their slumber; they have been the one’s who have lead the charge in our world for change. Yes, America may be the greatest missionary sending country in the world, but more and more other nations are sending missionaries to our nation. Why? We are heavily brainwashed by our government into believing that which it wants, and not what it actually occurring. My friends do not be deceived by false prophets, and teachers in government, movies or other such entertainment that seek to control not only you, but massive amounts of people. The reason is that if they can control the massives in their view they can control the power. Power and greed are the motivations of cults, which is why in the government their are secret satanic societies that seek to suppress the people of the Lord and the message of the Gospel.
My friends there are lots of distractions going on in our land today. Focus on the Lord and not on what is going on. The Lord has everything under control, as believers we have to trust in His shalom to lead us through to where He wants us. If you are walking with Him the only promise you have is that He will not leave you nor forsake you. He will give you the strength, and courage you need to overcome for Him as you trust in His justice to lead you through no matter how hard it seems. Trust in the Lord; lean on Him with all of your heart, acknowledge Him, and praise His name that He called you from the depths of yourself into the abundance of His glory. Do not be shaken by the recent events occurring, but trust in the Lord to use these situations for His glory. God takes that which has been messed up to demonstrate forth His glory, for His name that all may know that He is the only God who really lives!
It is time that the American congregation woke up. Its time that we as a nation humbled ourselves by acknowledging that we are a nation that is heavily brainwashed by the people that are supposed to be our "public servants", but in reality they only service their own pocketbooks. It is time for the people of the Lord to rise up and command this tyranny to stop. It is time that we as the people of the Lord rose up against homosexual marriages in our congregations. It is time that we stopped compromising the Word of God, for the tradition of man’s ways. It is time that we arose and stopped acting like little children, and now act as grown adults mature in Him whose life is within us by faith in His Son’s Passover sacrifice. It is time that we allowed Him to give us the strength to endure instead of running on our own strength to endure.
It is time for the people to hear the Word of the Spirit, which is the Word of Truth, for the signs of the times are here, and have been here for two thousand years. Who knows the day and honor of His coming. Today believe upon the name of the Lord by believing in what His Son did for you on the Cross. Repent of your sin, and decide your course of action is to walk in His power. Believe today in the blood of the Lord and His sacrifice on the Cross, His resurrection and Ascension to the Right hand of the Father. Come today into His family and be His child.
May the favor and blessing of the Lord of hosts be with you.
