Talking to our Father, God.
How do we talk to Almighty God, the creator of all life? How do we talk to a person like God, who is all-powerful? Very simply, We talk to God with Love, and respect. What matters to God, are not the words that you say. What matters to God, is not the length of your prayer. What matters to God, is do you love Him.
If you love someone then you do not speak to them in a mean manner. If you love someone then you should not yell at them. Instead you speak softly with love and compassion (or tenderness). But if you do speak to that person in a way that you shouldn’t then you ask them for their forgiveness. God is always faithful and just to forgive you if you will ask Him to.
When you talk to God you can talk to Him like you would your very best friend. After all, God should be your very best friend.

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
That is how you should pray to, or talk with God. All day, everyday, about everything. There is not anything that God loves more than talking with His children each and every day. Since we, you and I, are His adopted children if we have accepted Jesus as our personal savior, God wants to talk with you and listen to you each day. He loves you very, very much. That is why He is always happy to talk with you.
