Joseph: the Dreamchaser
Part 6: Getting Over The Past
Genesis 50:15-21
The ability to see God’s hand in our past enables us to find meaning and purpose, which in turn can enable the healing process to accelerate.
Joseph great strength may have lain in how he chose to view his past. How do you view yours?

Philippians 4:6-7
3. The Past:
Weakness exploited by _ Satan_
OR
Weakness reveals _God’s strength_
who really was in charge of allowing Joseph to suffer all these things?
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
4. The Present:
Self-Centered Lifestyle
OR
Stewardship-Centered Lifestyle
Whose life is it anyway?
And He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:15
5. The Future:
Earthly Plans
OR
Eternal Priorities
Joseph’s dream--was it really about exalting him or fulfilling God’s plan of redemption?
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:1-2
