4. The 10 Facts That Dismisses and Destroys The “Palestinian Problem”.
Fact #1: The driving force behind this issue is summed up in one word…hatred.
Most of us don’t realize how deep the hate is with the Arab towards the Jew. This hatred did not exist until Mohammed influence in the 7th century.
Arab children in most Arab counties are first indoctrinated with hate for the Jew in their homes and then their school’s textbooks!
Former Syrian Minister of Education, Suleiman
Al-Khash wrote, “The hatred which we indoctrinate into the minds of our children from their birth is sacred.”
In one Jordanian high school textbook says, “Israel was born to die…” Then on the back of the book is a map showing Arab armies circling Israel with missiles aimed at Tel Aviv.
In a Jordanian spelling book for 5th graders, the student is to practice writing, “We shall expel all the Jews from the Arab countries”
In a grammar book in Egypt for junior high they are to write, “The Arabs do not cease to act for the extermination of Israel.”
David Bar-Illan who grew up in Syria and later escaped to Israel remembers, “I remember that the Muslim boys threw stones at me…” from his education he says, “I remember it is written that all Jews are evil. And their (Jews) God is a god who wants to drink the blood of all the other people…this was in the Arabic book at the education system…”
Philip Hitti, a leading Arab historian says, hatred is “A chronic mental illness.”
Fact #2 Jews have always been a majority in the land.
Fact #3: It was not until the humiliating defeat of 1967, two decades after Israel’s sovereignty in the land, that a strong Arab connection was established.
Fact #4: If not careful the peace table will eventually destroy Israel.
The news media and politicians all call it the “peace process”, but it’s better said “piece process” – one piece of land after the next! President Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair have devised a “Road Map to Peace”…really it’s a road map for Israel giving up more of it’s half of their 23%.
Israel in the last 60 years has been in 6 bloody wars with its Arab neighbors! And every time Israel has come out on top! Here me…what the Arab nations have failed to do on the battlefield they have accomplished at the peace table!
Tunisian President Habib Bourguiba said 30 years ago, “The only way to destroy Israel is through peace.”
I personally think that every time the PLO has come close to agree on principle with Israel it was only so they can regroup and rearm themselves.
Fact #5: After 1948 when Israel became a nation, the name “Palestinian” almost became extinct.
Fact #6: Under British rule, the Jews were carefully called “Palestinian Jews” because they did not want to offend the Arabs from Jordan, Egypt and Syria who hated the name “Palestinian”.
Fact #7: Arabs are Semites; Philistines were non-Semitic people.
“Non-Semitic = non-Arab, non-Jewish.
One of the strongest lies that even Yasser Arafat promoted among his people was that today’s Palestinian Arabs are descendants of ancient Philistines.
Anwar Sadat the former President of Egypt denounced this claim, “The assassination of Arab brethren like Goliath, Jewish sheep-herders like David, is the sort of shameful ignomy that we must yet set aright in the domain of the occupied Palestinian homeland.”
Webster’s dictionary defines Philistines as, “non-Semitic people who lived in southwestern Palestine from 1200B.C. on.”
Fact #8: All roads lead to Jerusalem with it’s attempted overthrown with force.
· Its current population is about 620,000.
· The city is only about 12 acres in size.
The battle lines are currently being drawn right through the heart of Jerusalem. When Ariel Sharon was recently visiting Israel’s nuclear facility and he said, “Arabs have the oil, but we have the matches.”
Why is this city so important to Arabs since the evidence shows:
· The Quran never mentions the city of Jerusalem.
· There is no historical evidence that places Mohammad in this Jewish holy city.
· Islam had no mosque in Jerusalem until after Mohammad’s death.
· Mohammad never considered Jerusalem as a holy city of Islam.
· On February 12, 624, Mohammad forbid Muslims to face Jerusalem and pray.
Arafat really didn’t want just the Gaza Strip and the West Bank; he wanted the crown Jewel – Jerusalem! And then drive the Jews into the sea!
In September 1995 Yasser Arafat declared, "By Allah I swear that the Palestinian people are prepared to sacrifice the last boy and the last girl so that the Palestinian flag will be flown over the walls, the churches, and the mosques of Jerusalem."
The current Palestinian leadership is not looking for a peace plan with Jews but rather a plan to destroy the Jews…
In a sermon broadcast on official Palestinian Authority television in 2000, Dr. Ahmad Abu Halabiya and a member of Fatwa (religious rulings) Council said, “Allah the Almighty has called upon us not to alley with the Jews or the Christians, not to like them, not to become their partners, not to support them, as Allah said, “O you who believe, do not take the Jews and Christians as allies, for they are allies of one another…Have no mercy on the Jews, no matter where they are…fight them, wherever you are. Wherever you meet them, kill them.” Sura 5:51
Now suppose the Jews were the ones who said this kind of hatred on TV?
I ask, what’s so special about this city?
Gershom Gorenberg says it best, “If Jerusalem wasn’t holy, it’s hard to understand why a city stood there. It’s on the edge of a desert, the soil is rock… and the trade routes cross to the north. You wouldn’t come here for gold, wheat or spices, but only to stand at the gate of heaven.”
Fact # 9: The United Nations is anti-Semitic and is a stronger supporter of Arab causes.
Here’s a thought, the U.N. Headquarters in Israel is located in Jerusalem on the site known as “Hill of Evil Council” – where Absolam was convinced to take David’s kingdom from him! 2 Samuel 16, 17
The amount of time that the U.N. actually spends discussing and condemning the Jewish state is unbelievable! It’s a fact the Security Council has targeted Israel more than any other member nation with it’s warnings and condemnations!
The Security Council has repeatedly adopted one-sided resolutions charging Israel with sole responsibility for human rights violations, violence and deportations. On the other hand, Palestinian and other Arab violations and involvement with such incidents are rarely criticized, or even noted by the Council.
In an analysis of the Security Council’s record up to 1989, of 175 total resolutions passed by the Council, 97 were directed against Israel, as contrasted with 4 against all Arab states combined. The Council expressed its ’concern,’ ’grave concern,’ ’regret,’ ’deep regrets,’ ’shock’ etc. about Israeli actions 31 times. Regarding Arab actions, the Council never expressed negative sentiments. Only the veto power of the US prevented these numbers from being even more one-sided against Israel.
In the years 1947 to 1989, the General Assembly passed a total of 690 resolutions (full or partial). Of these, 429 were against the Israeli position while only 56 were against Arab positions.
It was shocking when on November 10, 1975 the United Nations General Assembly adopted, by a vote of 72 to 35 its Resolution 3379, which states as its conclusion:
“Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination.”
Israel’s supporters adopted the resolution despite strong opposition, most notably the United States delegation under the leadership of Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, then the United States Ambassador to the UN. Immediately after the adoption of Resolution 3379, Israeli Ambassador Herzog rose to denounce the resolution, and those who voted for its adoption. He expounded at length on the origin and meaning of Zionism. He pointed out the significance of this date, November 10th:
“This night, 37 years ago, has gone down in history as the Kristallnacht, or the Night of the Crystals. This was the night of 10 November 1938 when Hitler’s nazi storm troopers launched a coordinated attack on the Jewish community in Germany, burnt the synagogues in all the cities and made bonfires in the streets, of the Holy Books and the Scrolls of the Holy Laws and the Bible. It was the night when Jewish homes were attacked and heads of families were taken away, many of them never to return. It was the night when the windows of all Jewish businesses and stores were smashed, covering the streets in the cities of Germany with a film of broken glass which dissolved into millions of crystals, giving that night the name of Kristallnacht, the Night of the Crystals. It was the night, which led eventually to the crematoria and the gas chambers, to Auschwitz…and others. It was the night, which led to the most terrifying holocaust in the history of man.”
The pattern was established:
Israel is attacked.
Israel defends itself.
The UN or other international group steps in to end the violence, calling for both sides to take certain actions to resolve the situation.
Israel attempts to comply but the intransigence and non-compliance of Israel’s enemies’ delays implementation.
Israel is blamed for failing to comply while the failures of Israel’s enemies are ignored. This pattern repeats over the decades.
Fact #10 The Arab refugee problem is self-inflicted and pure propaganda.
I am greatly reducing this fact to just a summation, because the wealth of information on this is truly overwhelming against the Palestinian’s argument.
It’s time that the dust gets blown off the history books sitting on the world’s selves.
The day after Israel became a nation on May 14th, 1948, over night the Arab nations declared war on Israel. With that decision, the Arabs created 2 problems…
· The Arab states encouraged all Arabs living in Israel to flee their homes temporarily so their armies could come in and destroy Israel. They said to their people, “Get out so we can get in” and purge the land of Jews! But we know the Arab armies didn’t get in!
Then this created a major refugee problem for their people. Almost overnight 1000’s of Arabs were homeless but not because of the Jews! Most Arab nations refused to accept their own people into their nations. Some Arab countries demanded the return of these refugees back to Israel and others said that it was would show Arab recognition of the state of Israel.
How many Arab refugees are we taking about? At best estimates experts like Joan Peters who has poured over government records, say the number was no more that 343,000 genuine refugees.
She states, “It should especially be noted that the maximum figure of 343,000 is half the number of refugees claimed by the Arabs immediately after leaving, before the numbers were inflated …”
Now listen to this…Khaled Al-Azm, who was the Prime Minister of Syria in 1948, later admitted in his 1972 memoirs, “Since 1973 it is we who demanded the return of the refugees…while it is we who made them leave…we have rendered them dispossessed…we have accustomed them to begging… by inviting them and bringing pressure to bear upon them to leave…we have participated in lowering their moral and social levels…we have exploited them in executing crimes of murder, arson, and throwing bombs upon…men, women and children – all this in the service of political purposes.”
On a side note…the Jews, not the Arabs have poured billions of dollars into these Jewish cities that have so these so called refugees…I Believe that this whole problem could be over in a matter of months if some of the richest nation on earth – Arab, would begin to put money into this problem. But they won’t because they are determined to make the world think that it’s Israel causing the horrible living conditions!
Arab nations are derelict at this when it comes to their own believers… After the Tsunami of December 24, 2004, Austria and the U.S. pledge more than 1 billion dollars in aid. The oil rich Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Algeria, Bahrain and Libya made a combined pledge of less than one tenth of this amount.
One Saudi Cleric said in a nationally televised sermon, “It happened at Christmas when fornicators and corrupt people from all over the world come to commit fornication and sexual perversion.”
· Jews in Arab countries fled at the same time because of Nazi like treatment being done to them. This burst of brutality was unthinkable and unbearable which resulted in 1000s of Jews returning to Israel.
How many Jewish refugees are we talking about? The best number of Jewish refugees that fled 10 Arab nations after 1948 is at 822,000. Well over double the amount of Arab refugees.
For every one Arab refugee there were two Jewish refugees that also deserve our sympathy!
Key: While the Arabs were in Israel before 1948, they were treated with respect and honor with full rights as a citizen. But in most Arab nations Jews were tortured, beaten and heavily taxed!
William Hull, a journalist and author, was a witness this period in history and puts it into perspective for us this way, “The Arabs fled because their leaders had left and because God put fear in their hearts. In Bakaa and other parts of Jerusalem they left food on the tables, silverware, jewelry, money and other valuables in their drawers. Their leaders told them that they should leave now and that they would be able to come back in a few days, after the Arab armies had defeated the Jews. These Arabs had laid in large supplies of oil, food and other supplies in anticipation of the war. Each Arab house had a large cement cistern under it, full of water. These supplies and water were literally a Godsend to the staving and thirsty Jews in Jerusalem. It almost seemed as though God had provided all this to meet their needs.”
The way I see it, the Arabs just can’t win!!!
