The enemy’s activities thrive where his victims are ignorant of who he is and how destructive his agenda for man are. That is why the Bible warns that we should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil.
Lack of knowledge about the existence and operations of strongmen has led to untimely death and avoidable destruction in many families. This clearly shows that in ignorance lies the strength of the oppressor.
This timely message exposes the power behind the problems many people are passing through today and offers biblical solutions to them. It is an eye-opening and life-changing.
Read it carefully and reap the inestimable benefits it brings.
Matthew 12:29: Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
This verse is loaded with the following information:
1. There is a power known as strongman.
2. The strongman has a house
3. He has goods inside the house
4. Those goods don’t belong to him; otherwise, there would have been no need to take them from him.
5. You have to bind him before you can do anything.
There is a power known as strongman; it is a supervising power over stubborn situations.
Zechariah 11:9: Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
Many people are feeding their enemies fat. I believe that today is a day of great revelation and victory for you.
One man was attending a Gospel church but still had problems. Then he left and went to herbalists, pressers of sand, etc. He wasted a lot of money but there was no improvement. One day, his sister came and said she would take him to the most powerful herbalist and if the problem did not get solved, he should go and take poison and die.
When they got to the herbalist, without much ado, he told them to go back to the church. The man wondered and said he left the church to seek power. The herbalist told him that there was sufficient power in his church to set him free. The herbalist told him that the truth is that the power behind the man’s case is stronger than he is. The herbalist then quoted a verse in the Bible which says: “...when thou art strong, thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck” Genesis 27:40.
The herbalist told him to go and get power from his church. The man heard that scripture for the first time in his life, he was puzzled. He then discovered that the devil also quoted scripture to Jesus so, the herbalist too could do it.
The power behind the problem of this man was stubborn and strong. That is a strongman. Sometimes, the power drives people to despair and they will think that God is no longer interested in their case. That is why you should take the prayers against the strongman seriously and spend ample time on it. These are powers that will not let go.
Many years ago, I was going to see a man who was blind. I felt very sorry for him and at the same time angry with the devil. I took his case serious and rid of all his charms and amulets. I was going there every evening. The man who could not see me come in until I talked, soon, he began to notice the buttons on my shirt.
One day, I got to his house and the situation had become worse. I asked him what happened and he told me to pray on. Then, I went before the Lord to enquire about his case. I asked the lord to reveal what was wrong with him to me and the Lord told me to go there at 12 midnight instead of 6pm.
When I got there that night, I met a woman on the bed and I asked who she was. She told me that she was his wife and I told her that it was a lie because I knew the man’s wife. The man told the woman to go out of the room if I asked her to. The secret sin of this man was the strongman behind his problem. This strongman was throwing away all that we did and was being fed by the man himself.
If there is a strongman in your life, you have to deal with him and then remove the yoke that he placed on your neck and put it on the neck of the enemy. You need power. It is possible to see oneself eating rice and snakes in the dream at night. You can deal with such dreams by saying you will not eat again. You can also command the caterers to eat what they have prepared for you and stop them from bringing it to you. There is a dangerous prayer that says:
I force feed you witchcraft powers with your flesh and blood, in the name of Jesus.
This message is a very serious one and I would like you to strike out with all the spiritual powers that you have. There is a department in the camp of the enemy that places yoke on people. When that yoke comes upon the enemy, the next time they mention the name of your God, they will run.
They also have a department of resurrection of affliction. There is another one called regrouping department. You can hinder them through prayers. You can forbid any regrouping, reinforcement or replacement.
Take this prayer point:
No regrouping, no reinforcement, no replacement for my strongman, in the name of Jesus.
It is therefore a tragedy to feed instead of killing your strongman.
FEEDERS OF THE STRONGMAN
1. The ignorant: Many do not know what to do, neither do they know how far the strongman has gone. Unfortunately, many do not even believe that he exists. They think it is a taboo to say witches and wizards exist. Some even deny the existence of the devil. Some think they should not be prayed against because Jesus prayed it all and said it is finished.
2. Unbelief: The Bible says: “Some of them heard the word of God but it did not prosper in their lives because it did not mix with faith.”
If you pray or go to church without expecting much, thinking may be one day something will happen, then you are gambling and this is feeding the strongman. The Bible says: “The word of God is nigh to you, where you are, the word of faith is there.”
Anytime you doubt God, the strongman is happy. If you want to walk with God, you will have to walk by faith and not by sight. If you want to depend on what your eyes are showing you, then you will never defeat the strongman. Faith does not believe in impossibilities. It does not believe what the doctors are saying. It believes in the word of God. The Bible says: “Let God be true and everyman a liar.” Many people need to denounce unbelief and proclaim faith. The more you speak the words of faith, the more things happen to your spirit. The Bible says “God is not man that He should lie”. “With God, all things are possible.”
3. Unconfessed sins: In Proverbs 28:13, the Bible says, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
Some people think they can do things and hide from God, thinking He does not know about it, since nobody told Him. Nothing can be hidden from Him. That secret sin that is lurking in the corner of your heart, that you did not confess is obvious to the strongman and he will use it to fight you harder. Yours may be gluttony or anger or lust. If you do not confess and forsake it, it will be feeding the strongman.
I saw a cartoon in a London newspaper. In the cartoon, I saw two pictures. There was a man holding his Bible and going to church and there was a demon pulling his suit, trying to prevent him from going.
The second picture had a man with empty bottles around him and he was drunk. Under his table was a demon who was fast asleep - he had finished his assignment.
If you are in this kind of fight where the devil is trying to prevent you from serving God and you toy with sin, there will be trouble.
A sister was going through deliverance and the demon spoke out that it would go out as ordered but would come back because the sister was a fornicator.
4. Unforgiveness: In Mark 11:25, the Scripture states, “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
If there are people you have vowed not to ever forgive, you are feeding the strongman. Resentment and unforgiveness are food for the strongman. Forgiveness is a decision that you purposely take.
5. Occultic involvement: God’s unchanging stance on the subject of occultism is clearly expressed in Exodus 23:24-25. The passages read thus, “Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and completely break down their images. And ye shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless thy bread and thy water and I will take sicknesses away from the midst of thee.”
God hates idolatry with perfect hatred and does not want His children to get involved. If you are one of those that buy jewellery that have strange inscriptions they do not understand or images of serpents and scorpions on them, you are adhering to the idol worship of those who fabricated them.
If you study the cultures of some countries, you will understand that most engravings on jewellery and decorations are not just there. They have Occultic meanings and implications. If you now decide to mine your gold yourself or bend your iron yourself, it is still bondage, let alone buying them. It will encourage the strongman to stay put and continue to harass you. You cannot bind him when you have his property in your possession.
I prayed with a lady in Enugu, then her daughter started confessing to witchcraft. She said her mother bought jewellery from Thailand and she asked her to bring it out. The woman went into her bedroom and brought it. The girl said that was not the real one she brought that she (the girl) had taken it to their witchcraft meeting and they replaced it with the one her mother was holding.
To our amazement, the girl went into her own room and brought out a similar one, saying that it was the one her mother brought home. Comparing the two, we found out that they were the same. The one from the witchcraft meeting shone slightly brighter. The woman could not believe her eyes and hearts. The girl said it was because of the necklace that her mother was having palpitations.
The whole environment surrounding us is polluted, and if you know that you have battles to fight, it is better to remain natural. Since you do not know the origin of most of these things or what they have been dedicated to. The source of your problem could be the things you put on, some of them are on mission against health, marriage, prosperity, etc.
If as a student you belong to a cult and you have some regalia or other materials, you have to renounce your membership and destroy those things. Maybe you are no longer a student and you were one of them and probably still have some of these things, then you have to renounce your membership too and destroy those things. You have to burn the bridge you cross over.
Many people have objects that they inherited from parents or grandparents and are really attaching a lot of emotional values to these things. You have to destroy them and break the soul ties.
6. Covenants with false gods: The Scriptures say,”Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.” Exodus 23:32.
One day, a woman came for prayers with her baby. She said the baby was six weeks old but he looked like a six- day old baby. As I was praying, I saw a pendant hanging on the neck of the baby. I told her to remove it but she said it was the tradition of her village, that babies had to put it on for three months. She too had it on. After much persuasion, she agreed to remove it and one of the Ministers broke the pendant open. There was something scribbled on it in her local language. When asked the meaning, it read: “Covenanted to satan.”
Today, you will have to pray against any strongman that has refused to let go. You need to repent from the ways you have been feeding them. You need to know that praying is a serious affair and that the enemies of your soul don’t want you to pray.
ONE THING YOU MUST DO
Beloved, if you have not yet surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I would advise you to do so right away. The question is not about going to church or not, it is a question of having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. See yourself as a sinner and ask Him to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Claim the redemptive power in the Blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross at Calvary for your sins. Ask Jesus to take over your life so that you will become born again. Say goodbye to the world and the devil.
My prayer for you is that the anointing and power of God will fall upon you and He will keep you by His strength and uphold you by His mighty power, in the name of Jesus.
Prayer against the strongman is a decision that has to be consciously taken. Right there where you are, I want you to decide that you want to deal with him.
Ask God to forgive you that wherever you have been feeding the strongman.. Those times when you were living in sin, doubt, unforgiveness and so on. Ask the Lord to forgive you and tell Him that you do not want to continue feeding your strongman.
Decide that all the strongmen must die. Those that have to be cut off, must be cut off. The rest should begin to eat their own flesh and drink their own blood, according to Isaiah 49:26.
We are serving a God of signs and wonders, a God of miracles. The one who is more than sufficient, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. The God that knows the beginning and the end, the God that has all power in His hands. We are serving Him who is able to speak and no one can counter His words.
When you want to deal with the strongman, you have to be aggressive and violent; we are first going to deal with two powers that have been warring against the blackman:
1. Ancestral strongman
2. Foundational strongman
Beloved, if you have noticed that there is an evil pattern that runs through your families from generation to generation, it is because there is a strongman behind it, sponsoring its continuation. Pray these prayers aloud:
Foundational strongman, release my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
Ancestral strongman militating against my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
Stubborn strongman that is attached to my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
The Bible says:
Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee Jeremiah 32:17.
Verse 27: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Mark 10:27: And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
If you believe these scriptures, I want you to also believe that the Lord God is by your side and nothing is impossible for Him. The ability of our God is so awesome and incredible that as you raise your voice to pray to Him right there where you are, He will be fighting for you in your village or India or any part of the world. As you raise your voice to pray, your enemies will begin to fight it out amongst themselves. It is a sin to be kind to the devil or have mercy on the enemy of your soul.
King Ahaziah sent his messengers to call Elijah. They told him to come down and he said, “If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you.”
I want you to take the following prayer points the way you have never done before.
The Yorubas have an adage that describes some enemies as those watching you without you knowing; they are observing your life and you don’t know, they are deliberating on your affairs and are spoiling things without you knowing it.
Why do people have dreams of victory and the enemy will swallow it? Why does a person move so close to the edge of the thing that will close the door to poverty forever, and suddenly, it freezes? Why is the enemy so aggressive against many marriages?
You are going to send arrows of prayer that will travel far and the testimonies are going to be very powerful that you will find it difficult to believe. These prayers will cause chaos in the camp of the enemy. I want you to take the prayer points with aggression and with thunder in your voice. Concentrate, don’t allow your mind to wonder.
PRAYER POINTS
1. By the power that destroyed Goliath, O God arise and fight for me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every “Goliath” witchcraft, die, in the name of Jesus
3. Every “Pharaoh” witchcraft, die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every arrow fired into my breakthrough, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every covenant binding me and my family to any strongman, break and release me, in the name of Jesus.
6. Multiple strongmen responsible for the problems in my life, I bury you alive today, in the name of Jesus.
7. Anything in my life, feeding the strongman, I withdraw you and destroy you by fire, in the name of Jesus.
8. Lord Jesus, You are the stronger man, therefore, bind the strongmen harassing my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
9. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I enter into the house of the strongman and plunder him, in the name of Jesus.
10. Blood of Jesus, barricade my life and my family from the activities of the strongman, in the name of Jesus.
11. O heaven, come down into my body, soul and spirit, in the name of Jesus.
12. Thou rivers of living water flow ceaselessly out of me, from today, in the name of Jesus.
13. Thou power of resurrection, bring to life every good thing that is dead in me, in the name of Jesus.
14. My life, show forth the glory of the Most High God, in the name of Jesus.
15. I close the door of my life against unfriendly friends and close enemies, in the name of Jesus.
16. My Father demonstrate Your power in my life today, in the name of Jesus.
17. By the blood of Jesus I separate my life and my family from all troublers and troubles, in the name of Jesus.
18. Every habitation of the strongman in my family, become desolate, in the name of Jesus.
19. By the power of the Holy Ghost, O Lord, deliver me and my family from the bondage of the strongman.
20. My Father, make my life a living testimony of Your goodness, in the name of Jesus.
