WHERE WILL YOU BE AFTER
THE JUDGEMENT?
ROMANS 14:12 SAYS:
So then every one of us shall give account
Of himself to God!
1st Corinth 3:12-15 says:
now if any man build upon this foundation
gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay,
stubble;
Every man’s work shall be made manifest:
for the day shall declare it, because it shall be
revealed by fire; and the fire shall try
every man’s work of what sort it is.
If any man’s work abide which he hath
built thereupon, he shall receive a reward
if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall
suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved;
yet so as by fire.
2nd Corinth 5:10 & 11 says:
for we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body
according to that he hath done, whether
it be good or bad.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord
We persuade men; but are made manifest
Unto God; and I trust also are made
Manifest in your consciences.
Revelation 3:11 says:
Behold I come quickly:
Hold that fast which thou hast;
That no man take thy crown!
The judgment seat of Christ is for believers
And you absolutely can’t confuse this for
The great white throne judgment
Which is for sinners
The believers sins were taken care of at the
Cross at Calvary!
1st Timothy 5:24 says:
some men’s sins are open!
Beforehand, going before to judgment
And some men they follow after.
At the judgment seat though
We will give account for the way we spent
our Christian life!!
And We will receive our reward;
That the Lord feels that we are worthy of!!
Romans 14:10 says:
But why dost thou judge thy Brother?
Or why dost thou set at nought
Thy brother?
For we shall all stand before the judgment
Seat of Christ!!!
This judgment has nothing to do with salvation
Cause we will have already made it to heaven
With the lord at this time.
God has already separated us
From the unbelievers at the time
Of this judgment!!!
The judgment Seat of Christ is
A judgment of our good or bad works!!!
Immediately after the rapture of the Church
Every believer will stand before Christ
And we will be judged by Him
This ain’t gonna be a judgment
That’s gonna happen to all of us at once!
But it’s gonna be an individual judgment.
Because the bible says
Each one may receive what is due him!
Maybe you’ll get a big bunch of rewards
Because you’ve been a great worker for
The Lord and you’ve led lots of souls to Him
Or
Maybe you’ll just barely make it through
Those pearly gates by the skin of your teeth
As the old saying goes!
Jesus describes our working for Him as
Anything that we do.
If Jesus is saying giving a cup of water is
A work then basically everything we do
Can be a work for Him
So then He’ll judge the quality of our work
Whether its good or evil
And believe me there’s gonna be some good
And there’s gonna be some evil!!! AMEN
Matthew 10:42 says:
And whosoever shall give to drink unto
One of these little ones a cup of cold water
Only in the name of a disciple, verily
I say unto you
He shall in no wise lose his reward!!!
We have to have a plan and stick with that plan
I want to go to heaven and take everybody
With me that I can!!!!
Pretty simple huh???
The greatest stumbling block in everyone’s way
Is the minding of other peoples business
And the Bible is full of people who tried
To shun their personal responsibility to God!
Like Adam to Eve and Eve to the serpent
And Aaron in Exodus chapter 32
And Pilate in the trial of Jesus
We’re not responsible for the actions of
Other people;
But were responsible for our own actions!
Peter said
Let none of you suffer as a busy body
In another mans matters!
And Paul said: so then everyone of us
Everything we have, everything we are
We Owe to God who gave it to us!!!
Therefore our responsibility is to God
And we will be called on to account
For how we used the things that God gave us!
Everything we have, God just lets us use it
God owns everything and everybody
Our own life must be re-paid!!!
Our job is to lift up the name of Jesus
And we better lift His name
Higher than any other name!!!!
Matthew 6:2 says
Therefore when thou doest thine alms
Do not sound a trumpet before thee
As the hypocrites do in the synagogues
And in the streets
That they may have glory of men
Verily I say unto you
They have their reward!!!
So when you give to the needy
Don’t announce it with trumpets
And don’t brag about it to your
Brothers’ and sisters’
The bible says don’t let the right hand
Know what the left hand is doing!!!
Just remain calm
Were gonna get our reward when
we get there
our reward is gonna be crowns
there’s an incorruptible crown
which is for those who keep the faith
and don’t turn back to living their old
life as they did as an unbeliever
so many people get saved and
they turn back to the old man
and this crown is for those who stay the course
1st Corinth 9:25 says
and every man that striveth for the mastery
is temperate in all things. Now they do it
to obtain a corruptible crown;
but we an incorruptible.
The next one is a crown of life
Or also called the martyr’s crown
Its for those who because of their Christian
Beliefs have suffered injustices
Peter reminds us that all injustices are
Not because of our Christianity
1st Peter 2:19-20
for this is thankworthy if a man
for conscience toward God endure grief
suffering wrongfully
for what glory is it if when ye be
buffeted for your faults ye shall
take it patiently?
But if when ye do well, and suffer for it
Ye take it patiently, this is
Acceptable with God.
And here is the kicker
Revelation 2:10 says:
Fear none of those things which
thou shalt suffer;
behold the devil shall cast some of you into
prison that ye may be tried; and ye
shall have tribulation ten days:
be thou faithful unto death, and I
will give the
A CROWN OF LIFE!!!
And also there’s a Crown of Glory
Which is reserved for those who devote
Their lives to teaching and preaching
God’s word!
1st Peter chapter 5 says:
feed the flock of God which is among you
taking the oversight thereof, not by
constraint, but willingly; not for
filthy lucre, but of a ready mind
Neither as being lords over God’s heritage
But being examples to the flock
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear
Ye shall receive a crown of glory
That fadeth not away!!!!!!
And there’s a Crown of Righteousness
For those who live Godly because
They are anticipating his imminent return
2nd Timothy says
I have fought a good fight, I have
Finished my course, I have kept the
Faith.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
Righteousness which the Lord,
The righteous judge, shall give me
At that day:
And not to me only, but unto all
Them also that love his appearing!
And last but not least
A Crown of Rejoicing
For those who have devoted their attention
To the winning of lost souls!!
1st Thess chapter 2 says:
for what is our hope, or joy,
or crown of rejoicing?
Are not even ye in the presence of
our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
For ye are our glory and joy!!
There’s 2 purposes for the crowns
To lay them at the throne of Jesus as
A form of worship
And how we reign with Him will be
Determined by our crowns!
Revelation chapter 4 says:
The four and twenty elders fall down
Before him that sat on the throne and
Worship him that liveth for ever and ever
And cast their crowns before the throne,
Saying,
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory
And honor and power:
For thou hast created all things, and for
Thy pleasure they are and were created!!
2nd Timothy chapter 2 says:
if we suffer we shall also reign with Him
if we deny him he will also deny us:
listen to me tonight Church
we are not here by accident
we are here because it was appointed
your whole life is an appointment!
So many church members talk a good
Religion game
But their actions speak much louder
Than their words!
And it’s the actions that Christ will judge!!!
The bible says
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel
To every creature!!!
That’s what were doing here tonight
People judgment day is coming soon!
Jesus Christ is gonna split that eastern sky
And then the judgment!!!!
Are you ready tonight for the judgment??
Our words Our works
Our actions Our ways
Are gonna be judged!!!!!
If your saved you ain’t gonna lose your salvation
At the judgment
You’ll just lose your rewards,
If you didn’t live up to your expectations!
But if you aint saved
Jesus is gonna say, depart from me
You worker of iniquity!
I never knew you.
That’s gonna be some sad news for many
Our altars are open
Do you know Jesus tonight
Or maybe you once knew him
And you’ve strayed away!
Maybe you’ll hear Jesus when He asks you
Why you didn’t serve Him when you
Had the chance!!!
Once a person gave away an old silver tray
And later found out that it was old and very
Valuable.
And they said if they had have known it
Was worth that much
They never would have gave it away!!!
Don’t be one of those when you find
Out just how much Jesus is worth living for!!
