This power-packed message and the prayer points that accompanied it were specially released by the Holy Spirit to confront and surmount stubborn problems in your life. They are God’s lethal weapons at your disposal. Smite the enemy of your soul with them, he will flee and you will have your freedom, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
In Job 22:28, the Bible says:
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
This verse states that you have to make a decree and when it is established, light will shine on your way. It means that without issuing that decree, nothing will be established; there will be darkness.
The whole world was in darkness until the Lord issued a decree. The world was void, dark and He said : “Let there be light.” In Hebrew the translation is: “Light, be!” He created something out of nothing. You too can issue decrees today and something will happen in your life.
WHAT IS A DECREE?
It is an official command, the establishment of a thing in a militant way or issuing an official order. The Bible says: “Whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.”
A decree is a decision of a king or government.
It is an order having the force of law behind it. That is, the fellow is not just saying it; something is backing it up.
A decree is an authoritative order or decision to which people have to comply.
It is the determination of someone who has power.
It is to ordain a thing.
It is to decide what is to be done and what has to take place. The Bible says: “Where the word of the king is, there is power and who may say unto him, what doest thou? (Ecclesiastes 8:7)
Revelations 1:5-6:
“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen”.
This means we are princes and kings therefore we can decree things in and out. Our kingship is not by selection nor by election nor by inheritance so we can not be voted out of power. A person can take over government by a coup d’etat and a counter coup can move him from power.
Our own is not like that. We are kings by divine appointment. We are not asked to plead with satanic powers to release what they have captured or make a request to them. We are not asked to pacify the enemy; pacifying prayers do not work any more.
When we issue our decrees, they cannot be challenged by any court of law. Job 22:28 which was quoted earlier says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
The Bible also says:
If any of you shall say to the mountain: Be thou removed and cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatever he saith (Matthew 11:23).
You need to issue decrees against some powers today. God has a lot to do in your life today.
WHAT TO DECREE AGAINST
The Bible is divided into two: the Old and New Testaments. In the Old Testament, you can find shadows of the substance found in the new the New Testament. Most of what you find in the Old Testament which you think no longer exists is a figure of what will come up later, and so, you have to issue decrees today against the following spirits:
The Spirit of Cain
Cain envied his brother so much that he killed him. This is the first example of household wickedness.
The spirit of Cain is household wickedness that is bent on killing and destroying. It is envious household wickedness.
There was a woman who was very rich but she lost everything she had. All her cars got knocked down, even her husband asked her to move out of the house and she moved into the boys’ quarters. He then brought in their housemaid as wife.
She got to know MFM and was given prayer points to pray. She did fervently. One night, she had a dream where she saw herself and a snake coiled itself around her. It almost choked her to death but suddenly, an angel appeared and gave her a stick and she carefully targeted the head of the snake and hit it very hard. She killed it.
The following morning, someone came to call her from her family house. When she got there, she found her father dead with a battered head. She asked what happened to him and she was told that the father just screamed in the night, called her name, fell down and died.
She understood that the serpent that was troubling her life was her own father.
I would like you to pray the following prayer point aggressively:
Every “Cain” in my household, lose your power, in the name of Jesus.
Let my “Cain” die, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Ishmael
Genesis 16:11-12 : “And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction. [12] And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren”.
The spirit of Ishmael is part of what is troubling Nigeria now. It is the spirit of the Queen of Heaven, the spirit of talisman and amulet. It is the spirit that utters enchantment into the heavenlies.
Also, this spirit presses sand and casts down stars. It is the spirit of violence and wild enemies. This spirit has confronted many people and many have been forced to lose positions. Many people that come from the background of Ishmael are still fighting battles. It is a wild, stubborn power of the enemy.
Pray these prayer points with thunder in your voice:
Every power pressing sand against my life, die, in th e name of Jesus.
Every power chanting my name into the sun, die, in the name of Jesus.
Let my Ishmael be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Pisgah
Moses led the Israelites for 40 years just before they got to the Promised land, Moses made a mistake which made God ban him from entering. Although it was Moses that saw the burning bush, he also saw the glory of God. It was to him that God introduced Himself as: “I am that I am”.
The same Moses wrought wonders in Egypt. He had a rod with which he parted the Red Sea but did not get to the Promised Land. God told him to stand upon the Mount Pisgah and take a look at the land but should know that he will not get there and he never did. He died on the way. The spirit of Pisgah is the spirit of failure at the edge of success. The spirit of almost there.
Pray these prayer points aggressively:
You serpent and scorpion at the edge of my breakthroughs, die, in the name of Jesus.
Every spirit of lame breakthroughs in my life, I bind you and cast you out, in the name of Jesus.
Every power militating against my life, I destroy your crown, in the name of Jesus.
Every witchcraft power working at the edge of my breakthroughs, die, in the name of Jesus.
I bind the spirit of almost there, in the name Jesus.
The Spirit of Absalom
2 Samuel 15:14: And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.”
This is the spirit of strange children attacking the family. The enemy is using children in the family to work against everybody. That is why you will hear children confessing to witchcraft and familiar spirits. The Psalmist cried “O Lord, deliver me from strange children.” You too pray it :
Oh Lord, deliver me from strange children, in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, in the last few months, we have seen many cases of children confessing to witchcraft, children that have completely destroyed their families, children that blocked the prosperity of their parents completely. We have seen cases of people who employed house helps and found out that these house helps have initiated their children into witchcraft.
The Spirit of Ahitophel
2 Samuel 16:23: And the counsel of Ahitophel , which he counselled in those days , was as if a man had inquired at the oracle of God. so was all the counsel of Ahitophel, both with David and with Absalom.
This spirit is that of evil counsellors, they who counsel in order to destroy and hold evil counsel against people.
2 Samuel 15:31: And one told David, saying, Ahitophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahitophel into foolishness.
Pray this prayer point aggressively:
Every evil counsel working against my life, I turn you into foolishness, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Uzziah
Isaiah 6:1: In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
This is the spirit that blocks or erases divine vision. It hinders people from receiving the best from the Lord. It causes trouble when you are about to enter into your breakthrough prevents you from receiving God’s best. The prescription of the Almighty is that “King Uzziah” must die. Isaiah did not see the Lord until king Uzziah died.
Pray like this:
Let my “Uzziah” die, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Pharaoh
It refers to stubborn pursuers; the Occultic prayer practitioners who have vowed not to let go on a person so that the person will not get his or her area of breakthrough. The Lord dealt with them in the Book of Exodus. He decreed destruction into the Red Sea for them and the Israelites danced for joy.
Many people today have stubborn pursuers that have been trailing them for years. Some, it was right from the womb that the stubborn pursuers started on them. These stubborn pursuers pass the case file of such people to others when they are about to die.
Pray like this:
Every spirit of Pharaoh working against my life, gather yourselves together and perish in the Red Sea, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Herod
This is the spirit that kills good things at infancy. It destroys callings and potentials; it is the spirit of amputation.
It was one Herod that killed babies in order to get Jesus - Mathew 2:16. It was another Herod that cut off the head of John the Baptist - Matthew 14 : 3- 10. Another one mocked Jesus - Luke 22: 7-11, and another one killed James - Acts 12 :1-2. No wonder, the wise men did not go back to Herod to tell him the result of their investigation.
Pray like this:
Let my “Herod”, die, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Haman
It is the spirit of untimely death. It makes the enemy plot against you and prepare instruments of death for you. In Esther 3:9-13, Haman plotted against Mordecai but everything turned against Haman himself and he died through his own plot - Esther 7:9-10, Esther 5:14, 6:4.
Pray like this:
My enemies shall die in my place after the order of Hamman, in the name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Balaam
It is the spirit of hired curses against people. The enemies consult herbalists and diviners and these ones curse the people concerned and carry out rituals against them.
Numbers 22:5-6: He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me: [6] Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
Pray this prayer point:
Every spiritual consultation, targeted to destroy me, backfire in the Name of Jesus.
The Spirit of Goliath
It is the giant and mountainous problem. It also refers to cursing powers that are threatening and boasting against a person. It is the spirit that defies God in the lives of His Children. 1 Samuel 17.
ONE THING YOU MUST DO
We are going to issue decrees against all these powers today. However, if you have not yet surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you may not be able to effectively issue these decrees, they may not help.
You may be very active in church but you have not yet had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. I would advise you to do so right now. What does this mean? It means you should see yourself as a sinner and that you cannot approach God in your sinful state. Confess your sins to Him and ask Him to forgive you. Repent and promise Him that you will never go back to the world and sin anymore.
Claim the redemptive power in the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus made of Himself on the cross at Calvary. Ask Him to cleanse you with His blood so that you will become a new creature. Ask Him to take control of your life. Say good- bye to the world and the devil.
I congratulate you on the decision that you have just taken. My prayer for you is that it will be permanent in your life, in the name of Jesus. I pray that the anointing and power of the Lord will be upon you and every problem in your life will disappear, in the name of Jesus.
Now, I want you to examine your life and situation and identify the areas where you would want the Lord to touch you. Look at your family; see the pattern of things and events in your family. If you identify any area where there is an evil pattern, begin to reject it now. Look with your eyes of faith and see your situation changing for the best. Identify the areas where you need breakthroughs as you go into this warfare.
Some people have been put inside complicated nets, some have many enemies who have put them in nets. Today, such nets shall be burnt to ashes, in the name of Jesus. For some, the enemy has put strong roadblocks in the way of their breakthroughs.
Those road blocks shall be dissolved today as a result of the prayers I am going to ask you to pray. Some people who have been written off will see God appear in their situation as He did when the three Hebrew boys were in the furnace of fire.
Pray these prayer points with determination:
Poison of darkness in my life, come out and die, in the name of Jesus.
Every incantation of demotion from any direction, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
O arm of the Lord, arise and let my problems die, in the name of Jesus.
O God of Elijah and Elisha, manifest Your power in my life, in the name of Jesus.
There is no bondage that can defeat the power of God. There is no situation that can disgrace the authority of God. It is written:
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-10.
Therefore, by the power in the blood of Jesus, every stubborn situation, every witchcraft attack and oppression, every spirit of demotion, backwardness, hear the word of the Lord : DIE! In the name of Jesus.
Everything the devil is using against your career, promotion, health, every weapon of witchcraft against yours progress shall dry up today, in the name of Jesus. All the powers that have vowed that you will not enjoy your life shall be buried alive, in the name of Jesus.
Now, I want you to double the aggression with which you have been praying. These prayers are going to provoke dumbfounding breakthroughs.

8. By the power that raised Lazarus from death, let all my stubborn pursuers die, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every power preparing rags for me, die, in the name of Jesus.
10. You witchcraft power bringing food for me, die, in the name of Jesus.
11. Every owner of evil load in my life, carry your evil load now by fire, in the name of Jesus.
12. Holy Ghost arise, and kill my “Goliath”, in the name of Jesus.
13. Let my heavens open , let my poverty die, in the name of Jesus.
14. I take the axe of fire and I destroy every evil tree working against my life, in the name of Jesus.
15. You the tap root of infirmities, die, in the name of Jesus.
16. Every problem associated with any house I ever lived in, the past, be dismantled by fire, in the name of Jesus.
17. Every problem in my life associated with any dead relative, die, in the name of Jesus.
18. Every spirit of witchcraft padlock in my life, break, in the name of Jesus.
19. By the power that destroyed the leprosy of Namaan, let my stubborn problems die, in the name of Jesus.
20. Blood of Jesus, barricade my life from all kinds of evil, in the name of Jesus.
