This is a matter that concerns everybody and I strongly advise you to read on with rapt attention.
Today is a day to cry against the Pharaoh that has been pursuing your family and the prison warden that had caged your family.
You will cry out to the Lord to raise a Moses that will deliver your family from bondage.
The first time this kind of cry came up was when the Lord Himself cried: ‘Let my people go!’ He spoke through Moses to Pharaoh to release them so that they would serve Him. It means that without Pharaoh releasing them, the people would not be able to serve God.
Pray like this:
You stubborn Pharaoh, let my family go by fire, in the name of Jesus.
Nahum 3:1-4:
“Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not; the noise of a whip, and the noise of rattlings of the wheels and of the pransing horses and of the jumping chariots. The horse - men lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses: because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms and families through her witchcrafts”.
This makes us to understand that many families have been sold into witchcraft and slavery and need to be released. That is why I said earlier on that this message concerns all families.
Some years ago, a young man and a woman came to see me. The woman was about 47 years old and the young man was about 17. He was actually a boy but was fully-grown. They told me that there was a problem and I was listening. They found it difficult to tell me what the problem was. Eventually, they summed up courage and the boy introduced the woman as his mother. He said there was a mistake. The mistake was that he found himself having sexual intercourse with his mother and now, the mother was pregnant. They wanted to know what to do. As a minister of God, I made it clear that the act is sinful and abominable in the sight of God. As for the consequence, which is pregnancy, if they aborted, they have sinned because the Bible says, ‘Thou shall not kill.’ If they left it, it was an abomination. What then is the solution? I later found out that the boy’s father did the same thing to his own mother, which means it is a disease running in the family. It is bondage, a yoke, and a terrible thing that has to be broken.
There was a family where 11 people died within a month. Only two were left, they were Christians but one died later because he did not listen to instructions. He travelled when he shouldn’t have and he died in an accident.
This is a yoke that needs to be broken, a family disease and prison which needs to be prayed against.
One of the greatest tragedies in life is to suffer from a problem you did not cause for yourself or to be in trouble without having a part in the cause. You are not responsible for it but are affected just because you come from a particular family.
CHARACTERISTICS OF BEWITCHED AND SICK FAMILIES
There was a sister whose husband had no job and would sit at home and watch television. At Christmas, he would ask his wife to buy him new clothes if she did not want him to go to church in shorts.
She came for counseling. In answering the questions, I asked about her family, it was discovered that she was one of five sisters and the other four were back in the family house after attempting marriage. This was a family disease and prison.
There was another family where there were four sisters. They all got married but within five years they were all back in their father’s house. One of them got born - again and she came across the book ‘Pray Your Way to Breakthroughs’. She prayed some of the prayer points in the book for about 30 minutes. The following morning, her grandmother, who lived in the same house came to her, advising her to stop praying that way, that she should go back to the usual way they were used to.
That night, the sister increased her efforts and prayed for 3 hours into the night. The following day, the grandmother came again to warn her that she could be digging the grave of someone with her prayers. This made it clear to the sister that she needed to pray harder and she did all night. The following morning, her grandmother was discovered on her bed, dead. The sister found a padlock in this woman’s room and the Spirit of God led her to anoint and break it. She did and in it, she found a piece of paper containing her name and those of her sisters as well as cotton wool soiled with blood. She destroyed everything. The following day, her husband came to take her away with him.
Pray like this:
Every padlock of witchcraft working against my life, break by fire, in the name of Jesus.
The institution of the family emanated from God Himself. It was His idea. It was the first human institution ever formed. The first in the Bible. It came before human governments, societies and the church; it is the foundation of everything.
That is why the family is referred to as a church within a church, a republic within a republic, a world within a world.
It is a building block of civilization, of the society, the root and foundation of the state and of the church. If things go wrong in the family, it goes wrong everywhere
A robber was going to be executed and he asked for his mother. She came forward and was crying and lamenting. He asked her to come close and she thought he wanted to whisper into her ears but he got hold of that ear with his teeth and almost tore it off; he held on to it until the soldiers came to the mother’s rescue. He said she was there, when as a little boy, he was stealing little things and she did not scold him until he grew up and graduated into armed robbery. He was executed.
This boy’s father was a smuggler, who in an attempt to escape from the Navy patrols on the lagoon, fell off a boat and drowned. He died a smuggler and the son died a robber. Stealing was their family disease and it destroyed them.
The devil understands the power of the family. It is like a book; the parents are the cover pages and the children are the inner ones. It is the school of human virtues. And because of this role, there are diverse terrible and wicked spirits that are specifically warring against successful families.
Any family that has the potentials of being together and succeeding would have wicked spirits released from the pit of hell against it.
There is a department in the kingdom of Satan assigned to pollute, scatter, cage and put families in trouble.
In the secondary school I attended, I witnessed our principal expelled at least ten students throughout my stay there. We used to have lunch in the dining hall and whenever we were praying on the meal, you dared not close your eyes so that your piece of meat would not be stolen.
One day, a boy closed his eyes and his meat was stolen. He decided to retaliate the following day. Just before it was time for lunch, he asked for permission from the teacher to go to toilet. He headed for the dining hall and got all the pieces of meat in six pots which totaled 600. He went to the back of the hall with a bottle of water and ate everything.
He was caught and was going to be expelled. His parents came to beg for mercy. They were poor and wretched - looking. He was their hope and the expulsion would mean shattering the hope of getting out of their poverty in future. This was a family cage.
Sometime ago in South Africa, some witches fasted for 201 days to work against families.
It is unfortunate that a person cannot choose the family into which one is born. When you go to the embassies, you will find a lot of people queuing for visas. If one had asked them where they would have preferred to be born, they would have mentioned names of countries abroad. None of us has the choice. You were born without your knowledge or consent.
Ponder on this beloved so that you will know where to fire your arrows of prayer. Perhaps you come from a poverty stricken family where people die of simple ailments just because there is no money to go to hospital.
It could be that poverty has been reigning in the generations of a family. A person could be at the verge of getting a contract that would fetch him a huge sum of money and alleviate his poverty, something would just happen and the contract would not be signed. It is because of the family bondage - a decision had been taken in the spirit world that none of them in that family would prosper. It is double tragedy when a couple both come from families that are in bondage.
You might have noticed that in your family, things collapse at the verge of completion. Many projects never get started or they are never finished. You could also have noticed a particular sickness or ailment, it could even be death at a particular age.
There are some families where in every generation, one of them must go to jail.
In some, they are housemaids and boys, servants and messengers, whereas the Bible says: ‘Ye shall be head and not tail.’
In some families, all men are poor, in some; the women cater for their husbands and the children.
In some, they must get married to witches or wizards.
In some, they must be alcoholic, while in some, they must be polygamous and in some they are vagabonds; they move from one job to the other without making headway.
One day, a brother came to me and said he was going to build a house in his village I advised him to build it in Lagos and when he is spiritually strong, he would go to the village. He sized me up and down with his eyes and called me a fanatic. He went to the village and started building the house.
One day, he woke up and found worms coming out of his mouth. He pulled them out with his hands and by the time he pulled out the 17th worm, he fell down and died. He was buried in the premises of the uncompleted building. It was a pitiful case.
In some families, they must be polygamous. If they don’t officially marry more than one woman, they will have chain of girlfriends all over the place.
In some, the men will always run after married women.
One day, a woman came to me to say she caught her husband with a woman. She said she was going to the press to announce it and leak the secret of how her husband became Bishop. I asked her what the secret was and she said there were many people vying for the post of Bishop and she took him to a herbalist in her village where the man did something with the skull of a human being and her husband got the post.
I asked her to tell me about the marital life of her family and she said her father had three wives, her mother too moved from one husband to the other and that she had two husbands before the Bishop, who also had two women before her. I told her that she needed to pray to get out of the horrible situation rather than create a scandal. She needed to break the evil flow.
Perhaps as you are reading on, you remember that some negative things that your parents have said to you are coming to pass, you need to pray seriously and break the curses.
Some parents, when offended, tell their children that their own children too will do the same to them and it stands, if not prayerfully rejected. You have to pray like a hungry lion today to shake such things off.
In some families, they are liars, in some, they have skin diseases, in many others, it is argumentative spirit; they are always quarrelling and claiming to be right. In some, it is financial failure and other terrible trends.
Look at the story of Gehazi, his mother liked him and put him in the School of Prophets. Something in the background of Gehazi worked against him which earned him a curse of leprosy and unfortunately, Elisha extended the curse to his descendants.
This means anyone born in that family from that time had leprosy as a consequence of what their forefather did.
Many people today are suffering from what their forefathers did. The problem is not their making but because of family bondage.
CAUSES OF FAMILY BONDAGE AND DISEASE
1. Generational curse like that of Gehazi.
2. Evil dedication
A woman could make a vow that any child that comes out of her womb and sucks her breasts belongs to a god or goddess, it will stand and the children may not be aware of this oath.
The woman may even die and the oath will still stand. Such children would need serious prayers to be free from such a pronouncement.
Such oaths put people under an evil umbrella, removing themselves from it is always a tough affair.
3. Evil covenants
People enter into covenants with evil powers for one reason or the other and thus the descendants are bound to it.
4. Family strongmen
A collective personality in charge of the destruction of everybody in the family usually before such people die. The case file of such a family is handed over to another person who will carry on, as custodian of the tasks and things will continue to go wrong.
There was a man who had a lot of problems and everything was upside down. However, he had a prayerful wife who faced the battle for him. One day, the man’s father confronted her and warned her not to risk her life for the man’s sake that he (the father) was in him and he (the son ) too was in him (the father).
She persisted but one day when she fell into labour and was to be delivered of her baby. It was perfectly arranged that the hospital she was taken to belonged to a lodge member and on that day she was surrounded by lodge members. She did not come out alive. She died with the baby.
If you get married to a person in bondage, you need a lot of prayers too.
THE WAY OUT
1. Be born again
Come to a genuine saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your totality to Him.
2. Try and make a list of the ancestral sins of your family
It could be idolatry, occultism, polygamy, unforgiving spirit and so on.
3. Confess the truth about these sins to the Lord and ask for forgiveness on their behalf.
4. Break all covenants with failure.
5. Reclaim your lost grounds through aggressive prayers.
You need to pray that all the curses that have hitherto succeeded should be uprooted and that the generational spirits as well as all the evil spirits troubling your family should depart and never return. You must be determined to pray hard.
However, if you are reading this bulletin and you have not yet given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you may not be able to pray effectively against these powers because you still have some things in your life that are cooperating with them. I would advise that you decide to surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ now.
Confess your sins to Him and ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness with His precious Blood. Accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for your sins with His life by dying on the cross at Calvary. Ask Him to come into your life and become your personal Lord and Saviour. Enthrone Him on the seat of your life.
My prayer for you is that the decision that you have just taken will be permanent in your life and that the Lord will cover you with His power and glory, shield you from the fiery darts of the enemy and uphold you till the end, in the name of Jesus.
Think about your family and see what the enemy has done to your parents, brothers and sisters and to you. Check and see where there is need for repentance. Confess the sins of your ancestors and yours to the Lord. Ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you with the blood of Jesus.
If you love your family, now is the time to show it; confront the wicked ‘Pharaoh’ and cry unto him to let your people go.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Every family bondage affecting my life, break in the name of Jesus.
2. Stubborn witchcraft, let my family go, in the name of Jesus. ( I want you to visualise the stubborn ‘Pharaoh’.)
3. I push out the foundation of family destruction in my life, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every satanic property transferred into my life by my parents come out now, in the name of Jesus.
5. You the mountain of failure confronting my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every family witchcraft wife / husband in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every enemy that has refused to let my family go, die, in the name of Jesus.
8. O heavens, fight for me today, in the name of Jesus.
9. Spirit of testimony, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every stubborn power blocking my progress, clear out by fire, in the name of Jesus.
11. Who are you mountain that is boasting against my life? Scatter and become plain, in the name of Jesus.
12. Every garment of witchcraft, you are not my lot, go back to your sender, in the name of Jesus.
13. O earth, swallow my spiritual conspirators, in the name of Jesus.
