LET’S LOVE ONE ANOTHER
This day and time if you want to be treated with Love and Kindness, then you surely should know that you will need to treat people in the same manner. And its not just today, It’s always been that way!!
Jesus said in the sermon on the mount DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU!!!! Not do unto others before they
get to you.
As you can easily figure out – this is a general rule.
But there will always be those who’s an exception to The rule who’s always onery (LIKE ME)
No matter what!! But that don’t mean I don’t
Love Ya.
If we treat others with Love then We will Meet
Love and Kindness at every turn!!!
Its our choice
We choose how much love we get out of life in general
We choose how many friends we’ll have and also
the quality of the friendships.
We choose how we are treated in how we treat
every one else!!!
We will complain!!
I DON’T HAVE ANY FRIENDS. NOBODY
LIKES ME.
NOBODY LOVES ME!!!!
Its most often our own fault.
It comes from the way we treat other people.
Its our choice.
We can go through our days loving and being loved or rejecting and being rejected!!!
Listen to this little story about A young boy
growing up on the farm had many chores to do.
At the age of Ten he had to feed the chickens and milk the cows every morning before going to school.
His Mom would come into his room early each morning and wake him up and say wake up honey Its going to be a great day!!!
Then one morning his mother came in and said wake up Its gonna be a great day!!
The young man mumbled It’s gonna be a lousy day!!
His Mom said why Honey whats wrong??
He said I hate getting up so early to feed those stupid chickens and milking those stupid cows.
His Mom said why honey if that’s the way you feel then you just lay back down and go to sleep..
She said in fact you can just spend the whole day in bed.
He thought that was a wonderful idea and He went back to sleep
As you all know you can only sleep for so long so about 10 or so he couldn’t sleep any longer
So he spent all day in his room, No breakfast, No Lunch, No supper, No TV, No Radio, No Nothing.
At bed-time His mom came back and said Honey what kind of day did you have.
He said a Lousy day!!
She said see It was your choice, When you start off your morning saying “It’s gonna be a lousy day”
Other people can help you make it come true.
That night the young man slept fitfully and when 6 AM Came and His mother came to the door and
said Wake up Honey its---and before she finished
he jumped out of bed and completed her sentence “It’s gonna be a great day”
So you see it’s totally our choice as to how our day or our life will be!!!!! It’s Totally up to us!!!
LETS TURN TO 1ST JOHN CHAPTER 3:11-24
The beloved Apostle makes it quite plain
Here that the one mark of the devil is hatred!!
In the beginning was our commandment that we should Love one another.
1st John 4:11says;
Beloved if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another!! It’s all about LOVE
Love is the willingness to give and not expect
Anything in return!!!!
Some of us convince ourselves that we are kind because we think kind stuff or we talk about
kindness even though we Never actually do anything!!!!!
Or we might say it’s the thought that really counts.
Let me tell you right there’s a little more to it
than just thinking about it.
Tonight our scriptures say in vs 18
My little children, let us not love in word, neither
in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
This don’t mean children/youth this means
God’s children
And its not merely talking about it
It means to show it in your actions!!!!
Listen to what the Lord will show us!!
Psalms 16:11says
Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore!!
You see he will keep his end of the bargain BUT the question is will we hold up our end of the bargain??
1st John 4:19 says:
We love him because he first loved us!!!
He loves us no matter if we love him in
return or not!!
Our love is not even close compared to Gods
perfect love!
Big John 13:34 says
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another as I have loved you.
Is it starting to sink in Yet???
Look at what our parents have to face raising kids
In today’s society….They Love their children but
Today’s world sure don’t love them!!!
There’s Drug Pushers
DRUG ADDICTS AND ALCOHOLICS!
THEY ARE GREEDY!
THEY ARE VIOLENT!
THEY ARE THIEFS !
THEY ARE MURDERERS!
THEY ARE KIDNAPPERS!
THEY ARE RAPISTS!
THEY ARE LESBIANS!
THEY ARE HOMOSEXUALS!
AND THERE’S ADULTERY AND DIVORCE
AND ANGER AND LUST
The list goes on and on and on!!
This ole world can’t last much longer…
Hate has replaced Love!!!
But when the Devil reminds you of your past,
Remind him of his future AND OUR FUTURE!
But if We are not serving God our life is no more valuable Than anything that we just mentioned
Our life has no value if we are not fulfilling
God’s desire’s!!
JOHN 15:18 SAYS: JESUS SAID:
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you…
We already know the world was against Christ
The hatred they showed toward him BUT
Look what He still did for us!!!
He hung between HEAVEN AND EARTH
On the Cross!!!
John 8:44 says
Ye are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, Because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Church - kind love doesn’t have to have a
thousand arms, Two will work just fine!!
The ones you have with you will Work!!
We can be kind and loving with who we are and
With what we have right now!!! But listen:
Galatians Chap 5:20,21 says
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, varience, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like, of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God
HEBREWS 6:4,5,6 SAYS:
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to re-new them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Church I’m not saying this hint here means once in grace always in grace, But I’m saying that spiritual growth is the surest way to prevent the sin of what I call falling away, and also I think this is speaking of how far a person can go in religion, But still fall away and perish for-ever,
I call it LOST LOVE!!
You can turn your Heavenly journey around!!
Stay prayed up and ready for the promises
That God has made us!
Galatians Chap 6 vs 8 says
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap
Corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall
Of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Now that could make you jump up and down!!
There is one thing for certain – The only thing your gonna Take out of this world is your Soul!!!!
It’s totally your decision which direction
You take it!!!!
Don’t get me wrong I know its hard to Love everybody!!
I know its easy to say all this but hard to live….
But we’ve gotta try……
Revelation 21:8 says:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death!!!
This ain’t what I’m looking forward to!!!!!
I’m looking for life eternal - not a second death…
John 3”16 says:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not Perish but have everlasting life
Just look how much Jesus loved us!!!
Look what he did for us at calvary!!!
Now we are talking actions speaking louder than words!!!
John 10;10 & 11 says:
I am come that they might have life and that they
might have it more abundantly.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd
Giveth his life for the sheep
Jesus gave his life for us!!!!He hung on the Cross,
Bruised, persecuted, speared, whipped, spit on,
Cursed, Beaten, beyond recognition, His own mother couldn’t tell who he was.
Now ChurchThis is true Love.
JOHN 15:13 SAYS:
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends.
THE BIBLE SAYS:
Greater is he that is in you,
Than He that is in the world.
We should do something for Jesus, He did
it all for us.
We should Confess Him to others,
We should be bold for Him, to those who are dying in
Darkness and Sin
He is the needy one’s Friend tonight
We should always look to Him –
We should Walk in his footsteps
His word says He will never leave us nor forsake us!
Why would we even think of leaving Him??
How could We not net Serve The Lord tonight?
We should witness for Him with Love!!!!
We are all perfect 10’s in His eyes!!!!
We are special people for ministries
Not ministries for special people
God says if We will catch the Fish
He will clean them!!!!
It’s all about LOVE!!!!
Ever since sin was born there has been war not Love!
But thank God there is coming a day when war will
No longer be!!!
The bible says: We have all sinned and come short
Of the Glory of God
This will only be reversed when
Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess!
EZEKIEL 33:31 SAYS:
With their mouth they show much love,
But their heart goeth after their covetousness.
Lets show our love with our hearts and good deeds,
And not with our tongues!!!!
1st John 2:28 says
and now, little children, abide in him; that, when
he shall appear, we may have confidence and not
be ashamed before him at his coming!!!
If We are ashamed of Him,
He will be ashamed of Us!!!!
Wishing to please the Lord and not be ashamed of Him at his coming ought to motivate believers to stand firm!!!!!
And abide in Him!!!!
JOHN 15:7 SAYS:
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Here speaking of obedience indicating if we abide in His Love, We will have what we want!!!
Providing We follow his commandments!!!!
JOHN 8:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him!
JOHN 8:29 SAYS:
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath
not left me alone; for I do always those things
that please him.
Jesus tells us here to do nothing dis-pleasing
To God!!!
Never be offending as Jesus never offended
His Father in anything or in anyway!!!
Lets love God and Bless him and praise Him with our Love and with all our hearts!!
God receives blessings too!!!
Don’t condemn yourselves when you feel feeble
Like you are insignificant to God!!!!
God is greater than any need we could possibly have!!!
God can do the impossible but He likes to be asked!!!
Lets get our relationship in order with God!!
Ask for help with Love He will give it to you!!!!
There is no burden to heavy to place at God’s feet!!
Are you heavy burdened tonight??
Do you need to ask The Lord for anything?
Do you need Prayer tonight?
