1. GOD HAS GOOD PLANS FOR US
" For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. "
The Lord has good plans for us to fulfill our expectations . His plans are not evil but are to grant peace in our lives. The Lord knows the plans that he has made for us . Even though we may be confused or uncertain about the work of God in our lives we can rest assured that the Lord knows the plans that He has made for us . This should grant us an assurance and a confidence in every situation that we may face.
2. WE MUST PRAY FOR HIS PLANS TO BE FULFILLED
" Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. "
When we know that the Lord has good plans for us , we must begin to pray earnestly that those plans must be fulfilled in our lives . We must pray fervently that no attack of the enemy should thwart the wonderful plans that God has made for us . The Lord promises us that when we pray unto Him and call upon Him He will hearkern to us and answer our prayers . Thus through fervent prayers we can experience the fulfillment of the good plans that God has for us.
3. WE MUST SEEK GOD HIMSELF AND NOT JUST HIS BLESSINGS
" And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. "
The Lord has good plans for us and He wants to bless us and prosper us and lift us up in this world . But He wants us to seek Him more than His blessings . God Himself is the greatest treasure and blessing that we can possess . We should love Him with all our heart and mind and soul and strength . We must seek Him and not just His blessings . When we seek Him with all our heart He promises to reveal Himself to us . Our hearts must hunger and thirst to know God Himself . He is the source of all blessings and the provider of all our needs . Therefore we must seek Him first in our lives and then He will take care of everything else . He will fulfill the expectations of our hearts and grant us peace and cause us to experience the fulfillment of His divine plans for our lives.
