Ephesians 5:17 says: Werefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Listen, We do not need to be vague, thoughtless,or foolish concerning God’s plan for our lives. We have to be wise and understanding of what God’s plan is for our lives. We need to grasp firmly what the plan of God is.
Psalms 127:1 says: Except the Lord build a house they labor in vain, that built it,except the Lord keep the city the watchman waketh in vain.
There are two area’s of God’s plan.
(1) "There is the known plan" - The known plan of God gives us understanding in the area of salvation, spirit, soul, and body. It gives us understanding concerning healing, prosperity,Holy Spirit, and eternal life. "This gives us the complete plan for living.
(2)"There is the unknown plan" - The unknown plan of God pertains to things which are not in the Word of God.
Listen: I cannot open the scripture and read - Thus says the Lord unto Randy,Go ye into the land of Arizona and teach my people the perfect plan for their lives, then ye must,on the 7th day return unto the land of Alabama. "Its not in the bible"
I was in prayer several months about going to that conference, who to leave in charge at my ministry and to have God’s perfect plan accomplished at both places.
You see there are a few things we need to know,God wants to save us,and God wants to heal us. And I mnow what God tells us in the pages of His will. The bible is what God left us,it is His will and it is His testament. "It is what He wants us to do!"
So how do we learn God’s plan for our lives? By studing the known will of God. "THE BIBLE"
Romans 12:1 declares: I beseech you therefore, bretheren,by the mercies of God,that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,Holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service.
Turn to Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
(1) a wise man is one who does the sayings of the Lord Jesus.
(2) a wise man is one who does the Word of God.
(3) a wise man is one who builds his house on the Rock
Let me ask you this? On what is your plan being built?
Is your plan being built on the rock or is your plan being built on sand?
My wife and I built a home a few years back, after the foundation was poured the man told me he wanted to lay the blocks also,I said sure you can, this man had a fantastic resume for pouring foundatins and he said he could lay the block work too. About a week went by and one day after work I stopped by to check to see how it was going, they had about half the work done. The gentlemen told me they had to finsh some more work that they had started and they would lay some let it set up and they would be back to finish. When I walked up to the block work it seemed perfectly fine, but then something amazing happened, I leaned aganist the blocks and they started falling over, I thought to myself,O man they are sill wet,but they can’t be,they have been drying at least 2 days. As I went around the foundation kicking blocks over, and saying a few choice words "remember I was in the world at that time" I slowly started to figure out that there was really something not right about all this. So I went home got my wife and ask her when was the last time them men had been out there, she told me a few days. Come to find out they had put to much sand in the mortar. You see, to much sand in mortar will cause the blocks not to bond together and they will fall.
Matthew 7:25-27 shows us, our plan must be built on the rock,if it is not, it will fall.
Ephesians 2:19-20 declares: Now,therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and of the house hold of God.(vs 20)and are built upon the foundation of the Apostles and the prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the Chief Cornerstone.
Jesus Christ must be our Chief Cornerstone in our plan. If He is not the foundation of our plan we will fall! "And can I tell you, A great fall it will be and very costly. This is so important, you must grasp the plan of God with your whole heart, "Not you head"
You must understand what God is saying, because He is speaking to you and me today. The time has come for us to make "adjustments",You must say to yourself whatever it takes I’am going to get into the perfect plan of God for my life. However, the plan of God doesn’t fall on you like rain drops out of the sky,it doesn’t come to you just because you go to chruch on sunday’s, because you pay your tithe,or because you pray in tongues. The plan of God comes to you because you, seek after it,because you hunger for it,you want it more than life itself. God’s Word says: Ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be open unto you.
Romans 12:2 in the amplified bible says: Do not be conformed to this world (this age) fashioned after and adapted to it’s external, superficial customs, but be ye transformed (changed) by the entire renewal of your mind by it’s new ideals and it’s new attitude,so that you may prove for yourselves what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God,even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for you.
Now we need to ask ourselves, Why are we doing what we are doing? "Can I tell you" There is a reason you are doing what you are doing. There is a reason you are a nurse, truck driver, bus driver, school teacher, police officer,Minister, house wife......
"God wants you to achieve that vision, that plan for your life"
Here is how I know wheather I’m doing my own thing or working God’s plan for me now right where I am.
Colossians 3:15 declares: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,to the which also ye are called in one body;and be ye thankful.
Are you at peace or are you misserable?
You see,if you are working the plan of God in your life there is perfect peace, but if you are not,you will be misserable. People who have peace in there hearts love to go to there jobs, nurses love helping the sick, policemen love to protect people, teachers love to teach...... But people who are not in God’s plan hate going to there job’s, they are misserable.
Is there peace ? Or Are your Misserable?
There was a reason why God told Noah to build that ark. In Genesis 6:14-16 God gave the perfect plan for the ark. According to God the ark was to be built out of gopher wood, why gopher wood? Because gopher wood was not likely to rot or be eaten by worms. The ark was to be 625 feet long,104 feet wide, and 62 1/2 feet high. The capacity of the ark was equivalent in tonnage to more than 600 freight cars. In comperasion to a train 4 miles long and capable of handling 90 million pounds. Archaeological findings at Nippur disclose that the ark had a sewage system surpassed by that of a modern day city and that there were openings for light and ventilation on every story, "Here’s God’s perfect plan" But what about it’s purpose?
In Genesis 6:12-13 we find, because of the sins of the world God was going to destroy the earth and everything
in it. It was the obedience of Noah to God’s plan why we are here today. If Noah had not been obedient to God’s plan the earth and everything in it would have been destroyed.(Including us) The purpose of God’s plan here was to save men through the obedience and rightgeousness of one man. "NOAH"
"GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR HIS PLAN FOR YOU"
You see: God knows the plan, purpose, and final outcome of our lives today, we must stay focused on God’s plan for us,we can not allow people to pull us off or talk us out of God’s plan for our lives. If we do, "we will never have it." We must lock into the known planof God.
Noah locked into God’s plan for his life and by doing so he recieved eternal rewards. When we lock into God’s plan for our lives we too will recieve eternal rewards.
God gave Noah all the needed instruction, He will do the same for you when needed.
We read in the Gospel of Mark the 4th chapter verses 23-28 That we need to plant our seed by faith. It’s also the sane with God’s plan. When a farmer plants a seed of corn in the ground he does’t question when or how it will grow,he just has faith that it will.
You see: Man can form a piece of corn, make it look exactly like a real curnal of corn, the same size, the same shape, the same color, but when you take the man’s curnal of corn and you take God’s curnal of corn and you plant them both, you go to sleep and you rise night and day only one of them is going to grow. "WHY"
"BECAUSE ONLY ONE OF THEM HAS GOD’S LIFE IN IT"
Its the same with God’s plan for our lives. We can take that plan form it our way, size it up,shape it our way, make it any color we want it to be, but if it does’t have God’s life in it,"it won’t grow"
God will always give us the details of our plan when needed. We don’t need to worry about where that plan is taking us, just have faith in the plan of God for our lives.
It’s like going to a steak house, you go in,the hostess will seat you,the waiter will take your order, you order a 14 oz. ribeye. Now, did you ask what kind of cow it came from? Did you ask how it died? Did you ask if it was hay feed or pasture feed? " NO YOU DIDN’T" You just had faith that it was going to be the best ribeye you ever tasted.
We have to quit worring about the details of God’s for our lives,He will give them to us when we need them. "JUST HAVE FAITH" Remember: Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Jeremiah 29:11 in the amplified bible says: For I know
the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Remember: "GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU!!!!!!!
