ARE YOU CLIMBING YOUR
WAY INTO HELL?
2nd Peter 3:1-10
As we can easily see from our reading
tonight, God doesn’t want anyone to
end up in that terrible place called hell!!!
God don’t want us to go through this life
without Jesus Christ.
This place called hell wasn’t made for
You Nor I.
It was made for satan and his fallen angels.
God is such a great, and wonderful, and loving,
Heavenly Father.
This wonderful place called heaven, has been
prepared for all of us, who’ll put our faith,
in his precious Son Jesus Christ!!!
Tonight God wants each and everyone of us
to be saved.
He’s knocking at your hearts door, and He’s
pleading with you, to come to him and allow
all your sins to be washed away by Jesus’
Blood!!!!
The Bible tells us in John 6:44:
No man can come to me except the Father
which hath sent me, draw Him and I will
raise him up at the last day!!!
There’s good news and bad news in tonight’s
message!!
The good news is, The Bible tells us very
clearly that there is definitely a place called
Heaven!!
And the Bad news is: The Bible also tells us
that there is a place called hell.
But there’s more good news,
Nobody has to go to hell.
The Bibles lets us know that its all good
news for us, God tells us that He wants
us to go to heaven!!!
But we do have a choice and I pray
tonight that You make the right choice
before its everlasting to late!!!!
Tonight we’re looking at what the Bible says
about Heaven and hell.
This subject has been so mus-understood
and in this modern world we live in the worse
thing I’ve seen from most people is nothing
but, pure ole un-belief!!!!
Even though the Bible makes it so clear that
Both places Heaven and hell exist
so many just can’t except the fact its real.
Today whether people realize it or not
they are headed for a destination.
And so many won’t acknowledge it!!!
Its like a story I heard
a person got into a taxi and told the driver
to Hurry, ’m late, please drive fast.
Then in a few minutes the man realized
that the driver was going in the wrong
direction.
The man said: river do you know where
you’re going, and the driver said No I don’t
But I’m driving really fast!!!!
This is such a great comparison of many
people today in our world.
Life is in the fast lane.
So full of everything to do,
and everywhere to go.
But so many have no direction in their life.
We need to slow down and think of
the two destinations we are headed for. AMEN
If you think about it tonight, its so foolish
for anyone to reject Jesus Christ and pay
that terrible penalty of sin in a place
of everlasting death
There’s every reason in this world why you’
should be a Christian.
Just look around at everything that can
happen to you.
Asia just got hit by a terrible earthquake
and a tidal wave.
And California has been hit with the floods
and many earthquakes and the list goes
on and on.
This world can’t do anything for you
that’ permanent .
Just try to look into the future and you see
what reward this world has to offer you.
Do you know anybody that lives here
on Earth that has lived forever???
People the reward of the just tonight is
just as real as the punishment of the un-just.
And both are for eternity or everlasting
So don’t that tell us that there’s every reason
for us to be borned again???
It seems today that there’s so many people
that are just determined to go to hell
How can we worry about making a few
dollars here in this life, but let Jesus Christ
pass us by and we never worry about what,
Mark 8:36 tells us:
For what shall it profit a man, if he
shall gain the whole world, and lose
His Own Soul?
There’s so many Husbands and wive’s today
that will sit down and work out their
family problems.
And they’ll see to it that their families
are receiving the most happiness in this life.
They’ll see to it that they have everything
that they need.
They’ll even see to it that they have what
they want, and not just what they need.
But they fail to give the attention to God
that is required for them to have
eternal happiness??
We are so eager to give our complete attention everywhere but, to God, But He still loves us
and wants to save our souls!!!
Many people don’t even realize just how
hard their working at getting to hell.
They’ll climb over the highest mountains.
God has put many obstacles in our pathway
to hell.
It’s certainly not easy to get there.
God actually makes it difficult to go to hell.
God has put the church in our path
A man has to climb over every sound
bible based church in our community
JUST LIKE THIS ONE!!!
These churches are there so men can go
and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Each and every one of us are within reach
of doing our duty to be saved.
We are all within reach of a church where
Jesus Christ is preached and taught.
Luke 12:48 says:
Unto whomsoever much is given,
of him shall be much required
The people here in the United States have
been given much tonight
in spiritual instruction.
If you allow yourself to go to hell your
punishment will be greater because your
opportunities have been greater.
Now don’t get me wrong a church can’t save you,
But its there and full of the Gospel, and
that’s what will convict you and save you.
If you live and die and end up in hell
you’ll look back and say,
I climbed over every gospel preaching church
in my life to get here to hell!!!!!
Then lets not forget how many sermons
we’ve heard preached by God called preachers.
God calls them so that people can hear
the Gospel, and find their way to Jesus.
You can’t get into hell tonight without
denying the word of God you’ve heard
from me tonight!!!!!AMEN
Even Jesus preached the greatest sermons
ever in the world but men rejected His words
also!!!!
And because of their rejection, of the Word
of God, their wails,
and cry’s, are being heard as we speak,
from the depths of that terrible place
called hell!!!
The great sermons of John the Baptist, and
the Apostle’s, Paul, and Peter.
We find the warning of all their sermons’
Repent, Repent of your sins, and turn
to Jesus and salvation is yours.
They all preached repentance and Faith.
If you’re in the right kind of Church tonight,
You’re hearing that same kind of message.
But if you die without accepting Jesus tonight,
You can say I have climbed over every
sermon I ever heard to get to hell.
And you’ll never forget how many times you
seen the bible in a motel or in a doctors office
and you refused to pick it up and read it,
And how many times have I heard people
say, I CAN’T UNDERSTAND IT.
BALONEY!!!!!
If you read the bible you’ll see that you’ll
find Christ there and the opportunity of
everlasting life.
Now if you read it with a critical attitude,
and you want to contradict it then you’ll
get no blessing at all from it.
But if you’ll read it with an open mind
and with the prayer of wisdom and
understanding,
The Holy Spirit will shine
through every page and it’ll point you
to Jesus with every word!!!
Every man in the world has the opportunity
to own a Bible.
Churches, and Christians, and Bible society’s
will be so glad to give anyone a Bible at No
Cost.
We even give them away to everyone that
don’t have one.
If you’re a sinner tonight, You have no excuse.
And again if you die and go to hell,
you’ll look back and say I wish I wouldn’t
have been here if I hadn’t climbed over
that mountain of God’s word.
And there’s the Mountain of our Parents Love
and Prayers.
Many of us can remember how our parents
loved us and prayed for our salvation.
Maybe you’re still living today because
your mother prayed that prayer, that you
would accept Jesus before you died, and
The Lord is allowing you to still be here
because of it.
Still waiting on you to accept Him before its
to late!!!! PLEASE DON’T WAIT TO LONG!
You have to climb over the conviction power
of the Holy Spirit.
How many times have you gripped the back
of the pew in front of you, while your heart
thumped and thumped from the knocking
of the Holy Spirit at your hearts door.
And you refused???
Tonight God’s Holy Spirit stands between
you and that terrible place called hell.
God sent him here to this earth to convict
Us of our sins, and of righteousness,
and of Judgment!!!!
Why am I here tonight preaching God’s Word??
Because one night the Holy Spirit knocked at
my hearts door, and I opened and let Christ in.
And then on another occasion He knocked again
and called me to be a preacher of His Gospel.
I’m here today because of the work of
God’s Holy Spirit.
In One Hundred Years, Where will You Be???
In a Thousand Years, Where will You Be???
In a Million Years, Where will you Be???
It all depends on the answer that you will give
to Gods Holy Spirit.
Will you say YES to Him,
Will you open your Hearts door to Him???
All of your future happiness and all
of your hope for eternity, depends on
that answer, that you’ll give to the Holy Ghost,
But if you die and find yourself in hell,
you’ll remember how you denied and
climbed over that mountain of God’s
Holy Spirit to get there!!!!
Finally tonight you’ll have to climb
over that mountain called Mt. Calvary
To get into hell.
This is the Mountain where Jesus Christ
was Crucified
Christ stands between you and the door
to the pits of hell where there are no
exit doors!!!
NO EXIT SIGNS IN HELL!!!
Tonight He knocks at your hearts door!
Tonight He says Please open and let me in!!
Isaiah 1:18 says:
Come now, and let us reason together
though your sins be as scarlet, they
shall be as white as snow.
John 3:36 says:
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life
and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life
But the wrath of God abideth on him
Matthew 11:28 says:
Come unto me all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Tonight He Says in
John 6:37:
Him that cometh to me I will in no wise
cast out!!
Please don’t reject Him tonight People,
Please come to Him tonight!!
He offers everything good for this
world and the world to come!
When your life’s journey winds down
and death is near, You’ll be sorry for many
things.
But I promise you tonight you’ll never
be sorry that you gave your life and heart
to Jesus Christ.
The Bible says today is the day of salvation
Tonight you have everything to gain
and nothing to lose!!!
Jesus calls hell Gehenna, and fiery furnace
fiery lake, lake of burning sulfur, eternal fire
The Bible says:
There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
All the descriptions of hell that I’ve found
in the Bible are all bad.
And all the descriptions of Heaven that I’ve
found are nothing but Good!
Like inexpressible and glorious joy
a garden, a place of rest, a Kingdom,
a Heavenly Country,
A place with Many Mansions,
A place of Joy,
Streets of Gold, Walls of Jasper, Gates of Pearl,
Crowns of Gold.
And the good goes on and on and on!!!!
