Coming Alive in 2005
This year is the year for many to come out of their religious closets and to start professing the things of God. This year will be a year for some to start being the Kingdom of God instead of sitting on the sidelines. Though 2005 will be an eye opener for some, many will remain in their dormant state, not doing anything but just getting in the way of those who are trying to build the kingdom of God
As I began to ask God what 2005 had in store he took me to a place that was familiar, but in a place I had no desire to be. I hastened to ask him Lord what does this place have to do with me? He showed me that even as Ezekiel stood in the valley of the dead bones over 2500 years ago the spirit of those bones are still around today waiting for someone to prophecy life into them.
· Those bones will only come alive if there is a voice to prophecy life into them.
· Those bones will only come to be what they need to be if someone will just listen to God long enough to speak hope into a generation that has lost all hope
· Someone to speak healing into the lives of those who are afflicted
· Someone to speak deliverance into the lives of those who need set free
· Someone to speak prosperity into the lives of those who are walking in poverty
· And Someone who will speak life into those who are spiritually dead
Eze 37:1-10 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, (2) And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. (3) And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. (4) Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. (5) Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: (6) And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. (7) So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. (8) And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. (9) Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. (10) So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
There are those here in this room that will be like the prophet Ezekiel and will speak life into those who are dying but it will come with a cost and desire. A desire for His presence and His glory to come forth and cover you, guide you, and to preside over you as you take His Word to the those who need to come Alive in 2005.
1. The First thing God said to me was there has to be a greater Obedience
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
As the Holy Spirit was speaking to me He said, “You will never get your heart right until you get your thoughts or thinking right.
The problem with most We have to bring every thought into the obedience of Jesus Christ.
In a country where 87% believe in God also promotes being a rebel is cool is the very same country that has one of the highest crime rates in the world with our prison system overcrowded and out of room
In a country where 87% of population believes in God calls pornography a form of “Free Speech” is the same country where Child pornography generates $3 billion annually and when your child enters a chat room, they have a 100% chance of coming in contact with a sexual predator.
Its Time some men and women of God start being obedient to his Word.
Isa 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Too many people are going without because they are disobedient to what God has told them to do.
Listen to what Jesus said about being obedient
The Amplified says in Joh 14:15 15If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
· Don’t say you love God and do what your flesh tells you to do
· D0nt say you love God and you wont overcome the waits that so easily besets you
· Don’t say you love God and whatever passion of sin that comes along you dive head first.
Listen to these promises that God has for those who will walk in his commandments in 2005.
There will be No Diseases that can touch you:
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
There will be provision:
Levitcus 26:3-4 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; 4Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
There will be Long Life:
Deuteronomy 4:40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth,
You will posses the Land and take it from the enemy:
Deuteronomy 6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
I went to the enemies camp: No you wont, not until you learn to obey God.
IF YOU ARE EVER GOING TO DO ANYTHING IN 2005 YOU HAVE TO BE OBEDIENT
2. The Second thing the Lord told me was that there would be a Greater Anointing.
The anointing is the capability to do supernatural acts through God.
Remember this is contingent on being obedient.
Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
If there was ever a time it is 2005, for a fresh fire and fresh anointing.
It’s the year to break yokes!
The Holy Spirit said to me “Without a fresh anointing you can’t break new yokes.”
The church don’t need
· A new program
· A new deacon board
· A new preacher
· A better marketing plan
· A new web page
· A newsletter in every mailbox
You see people don’t need
· Another pious religion
· Man made rules and regulations
· A false prophecy
· Another I’m OK and your OK message
· A preacher that cant pray their way out of a wet paper sack
What we need in 2005 is a good old fashion dose of the Holy Ghost.

Maybe you forgot what Luke was writing about when he said, Act 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (3) And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. (4) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The Psalmist new what he was talking about when he said in Psa 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a wild bull, I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
He knew that more than anything else he had to be anointed with the Fresh oil of the Holy Ghost.
3. Last but not least There will be a Greater Harvest than every before in 2005.
Amo 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
Joe 2:23-24 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. (24) And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
