AN END OF THE YEAR EXHORTATION
(The Year Is Not Yet Over)!
Exodus 12:1-2 "Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."
Psalm 105:37 "He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes."
Allow me to inspire you for a few minutes. I don’t know about you but the year is not yet over! I said, the year is not yet over... I know that we are just a few hours from the New Year and we are about to step over onto a brand new path forward in this ministry – hoping to revisiting some old territories and looking forward to discovering new ones, and to initiate brand new plans of what we want God to do for us - we are hoping for some exciting and blessed times in the year to come. But this year is not yet over...
In Exodus Chapter 12 verses one and two, God spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, "This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."
Here in this verse from Exodus, God is about to deliver the Israelites from 430 years of Egyptian bondage; this is the eve of their departure from their long enslavement. And on this night, God through Moses is instituting a New Year – a new era – He is instituting the sacred calendar so that Israel and the world can know His prophetic plan for the ages!
This for Israel is a new beginning - a fresh new start as a freed and redeemed people! They are on the threshold of stepping over into destiny and purpose with God orchestrating this movement with a great demonstration of His power. Here, they were about to step over into something new. Next year is prophesied to be the year of destiny. And guess what? We too can step over into something new, a brand new beginning in Jesus Christ…
Since We Are Not Yet Gone – Let’s Make the Best of What is Left
In my day we used to sing an old song that says, "Before this time another year I maybe gone!" And since another year hasn’t yet quite arrived, and since we are still here in this year, though a few hours left – I must redeem the time of what is left of this year and make the best of it... I know you might be saying, "well, bishop, want can I expect in these last few hours of this year?" I want you to know that you can expect everything that is in line with the will of God... And if you don’t get that healing or if no one stop by this Church and give you $10,000 don’t think that this year will end in failure. But if you would just recommit yourselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and renounce all of your setbacks of this year, a great miracle will take place in your soul and in your life. The year is not year over!
Year endings can be trying times – times of uncertainty. But you can make it a time of resolve for a brand new start...
It is always said that every year carries its number, meaning lots of folk’ die at the end of the year. So when December arrives folk begin to worry about dying or someone dying in the family. And since we are all still here we can inquire of the Lord for a last minute miracle. Hallelujah!
At the beginning of a New Year, folk set goals and make resolutions. And if what they resolved to do hadn’t come to pass by Christmas day, they sometimes will become disenchanted or ashamed because they wonder how many heard them made the resolutions that are yet unresolved... I want you to know that it is not too late for your resolve to be resolved!
The Year Is Not Yet Over
Sermon: I said the year is not yet over! And whatever you resolved to do or were desiring during the year – from January 1st up until now – now that there are just a few more (hours) days left – in case you are wondering that this year is going to pass and your destiny and your purpose for this year will not be fulfilled!
- Let me tell you that the year is not yet over!
- And God can do it now! I said that God could perform it!
- He can perform it right now!
- It can be accomplished!
- It can be done…
How many believe that God can still do it in the few hours’ that are left? For the Psalmist cried out, "Thou anointest my head with oil and my cup runneth over" – "For He has anointed me with the oil of gladness above my fellows!" – "For He shall anoint me with fresh oil!" And I shall accomplish – I shall accomplish what has not yet been accomplished thus far this year! The year is not yet over! Tell somebody, "The year is not yet over!’ Tell them, "Don’t worry, God can still do it!"
Now if you want Him to do it you ought to inquire of the Lord – You ought to inquire of the Lord. "Lord, are you going to still do it because I still believe!" I said that I still believe!
They Came out of Egypt Healthy and Wealth
Now the Bible said in Psalm 105:37, "He brought them out of Egypt with silver and gold and there was not one feeble among their tribes." They may have been sick while in Egypt – And they may have been broke down there. But when they crossed over from the borders of Egypt en route to the Promised Land
- They left their sicknesses back there!
- They left their weaknesses back there!
- They left bad memories back there!
- They left their poverty back there!
- The Bible said that they spoiled the Egyptians –
- They took most of their silver –
- They took most of their gold
- They took finest of fine garments.
- They did not leave Egypt sick
- There was not even one weakling or sickly among their tribes…
- No sickness or health problems suffering were among them –
Let me tell you that you can step over into the New Year and leave your chagrin behind you
– You can leave your poverty behind!
– You can leave your sickness behind!
– You can leave your sorrow behind!
– You can leave your sadness behind!
God is ready to bring you out, as He did Israel, with a mighty hand…He is ready to bring you out...
– With great strength
– And with great power!
– And with great wealth!
– And in good health!
– Walking in Kingdom authority,
– Anointed,
– and appointed-
– going on to purpose and destiny –
– God is here and He is with you now!
Oh give Him praise in house!
Yes the Word said that He brought them out – He brought them out problem free!
- In Egypt they were afflicted!
- They were oppressed!
- They were in bondage!
- They were sick and afflicted!
- They had hard taskmasters!
But God’s word said that He brought them out! One passage said He brought them out by a "Mighty Hand." Another verse said that He brought them out on "eagles’ wings." But however He brought them out they came out! The Pharaoh could no longer restrain them! The power of Egypt could any longer hold them! Want He bring you out too?
Everyone Left in Good Health and With Good Wealth
And when they were on the threshold of their departure, Jehovah Rapha showed up and heal them all and there was not one feeble; sick or afflicted among their tribes. Even the old patriarchs and matriarchs among the group came out healthy and wealth – even the middle age and even the young and infants did not come out weak and sick or broke.
Then Jehovah-Shepha, the God of abundance showed up and made them rich and wealthy.
– They left all bad omens and misfortunes back in Egypt.
– They came out burden free!
– Worry free!
– and debt-free!
Let me tell you something, "The year is not yet over – the year is not yet over! And you can step over into the New Year leaving behind all of the problems of this year.
How many want to leave this year’s problems in this year? Tell somebody, "I ain’t carrying that mess over into the New Year!" Say," I ain’t going to carry it over!" Tell them, "No baby – you might be carrying yours over but I ain’t carrying mine over!
– I am putting the past behind me!
– I refuse to carry sickness over!
– I refuse to carry sorrow over!
– I refuse to carry a bad marriage over!
– I refuse to carry that child still in jail over or any dysfunctional family over!
– I am going to believe God because the year is not yet over!
I am going to leave all of the mess behind! God brought them out! Won’t He bring you out? I said, "won’t He bring you out?" Come on and give Him a shout in this place!
Unbroken Covenant Deliverance
If He performed it under the old covenant, what about under the new? You must understand that when this happened the Sinai covenant was not yet in force. But there was a man name Abraham whom God made some mighty and precious promises to. And they came out under the Abranamic covenant. So their deliverance did not have anything to do with smoking mounting, skipping hills, thundering and lightning and lice and frogs and darkness. Those things made a divine impressions on their oppressors. But it was the faithfulness of God who can not fail that brought them out.
He brought them out!
– They came out of bondage and terrible enslavement!
– They came with silver and gold!
– They came out with jewelry and fine garments!
– They came out with no sicknesses!
– They came out with no diseases!
– They came out with no oppression!
– They came out with no sorrow!
– They came out happy!
– They came out rich!
– They came out blest!
– They came out with goodness and mercy following them.
– They came out with purpose tied to goodness and destiny tied to mercy!
Church, "THE YEAR IS NOT YET OVER!"
I don’t know about you but I want to step over into a new beginning! I said that I want to step over into a new beginning!
– A new beginning of health!
– A new beginning of healing!
– A new beginning of holiness!
– A new beginning of happiness!
Tell somebody again, "the year is not yet over!" Tell them. "Don’t fret yourself- If your purpose and your desire have not yet came to passed - there is still time for a manifestation"! He is Jehovah Shamma! He is ever-present and He can do it right now!
Ask them, "Where is your hope? (repeat). I don’t know about you but my hope is in the Lord who made the heavens and the earth! Somebody shout, "THE YEAR IS NOT YET OVER!"
