1. Slacker (Proverbs 10:4)
Pro 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

Definitions
1.) failing to give to the needs of others, according to your own abilities
2.) you are negligent and slothful in your business

1.) not necessarily monetary riches but all the blessings of God

2. Slothful (Proverbs 12:24)
Pro 12:24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
A.)Pro 12:24a - The hand of the diligent shall bear rule,....
1.) "through diligence men get riches, and through riches they arrive to power and authority over others" (John Gill)
2.) from a med student to a doctor or an apprentice to a journeyman or master takes diligence
B.)Pro 12:24b - but the slothful shall be under tribute;
1.) slothful people usually make there living through deceit because they are lazy
2.) the lazy and deceitful will always be under the authority of the diligent (don’t make fun of geeks because one day you may be under their authority)

3. Sluggard (Proverbs 13:4)
Pro 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

1.) a sluggard desires and wants different things but will not put forth the effort or diligence to attain them
2.) all talk no action or involvement

1.) a diligent person sees what is needs to be done and gets involved and doesn’t care what the price is because he knows the will of God offers much more
2.) our actions back up our words
"Soul Food" comes from being diligent and involved in doing God’s will and work for us on this earth.
Diligence
DILIGENCE, n. [L., to love earnestly; to choose.]
1. Steady application in business of any kind; constant effort to accomplish what is undertaken; exertion of body or mind without unnecessary delay or sloth; due attention; industry; assiduity.
Diligence is the philosophers stone that turns every thing to gold.
Brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure. 2 Pet 1.

Keep thy heart with all diligence. Prov 4.
